We sent a request to change the date and didnt got a reply, even though it was weeks before the check-in and didnt get replys on other questions. At the check-in we had to find out how much we paid, to get a room according to our payment, so the hosts didnt knew which room we had. They first put us in one room and we had to change it later on. We had no toilet paper and towels, but were charged for using the gas in the kitchen... We liked the heater in our room, but beside that we werent really happy.

La estancia en el hostel Oasis fue muy agradable. Hemos disfrutado el paisaje y aún en condiciones simples había buena comida y agua caliente. Todo el personal fue muy atento. Recomiendo la estancia.

Eine einfache Unterkunft, aber mit allem was man braucht. Es gab ein eigenes Badezimmer mit einer heißen Dusche, eine Heizung, und bequeme Betten. Zusätzlich für sehr wenig Geld (etwa 4 Euro) ein leckeres Abendessen (Suppe & Hauptgang) und ein Frühstück für noch weniger. Außerdem die Möglichkeit Bergsteiger Ausrüstung, z.B. Steigeisen auszuleihen. Bitte beachten: in dem Ort gibt es keinen Geldautomaten und nur eine kleinen Laden. Die letzten 11 km Straße waren eine üble Piste mit viel vulkanasche. Eine interessante Erfahrung, vor allem für mich mit dem Motorrad. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mega. Ich würde auch das doppelte zu bezahlen und wäre immer noch zufrieden.

The accomodation was quite basic. Considering it’s in a national park where there are very few options and it is very cheap it was ok. Our bathroom was very dirty, there was still urine in and all over the toilet. The private bathroom does‘nt include a shower and the water in the shower was not even really warm. The wifi is very bad at times. The owner Marcelo helped us a lot with the arrival to the park/village with public transport. They provide meals in the restaurant in the same building but consider when you visit Sajama that there are only small shops to buy snacks and not really the possibility to buy groceries. There is also no ATM. The park itself is very beautiful with many nice hiking opportunities. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a place with a cosy atmosphere. It's in the national park, so you have to pay the entrance fee before you can get to the village. This is a good thing because the location is great for exploring the park. We were offered a home cooked meal for a reasonable price. On the downsite, the room was very cold and there was no wifi, other than the mobile hotspot of a worker that worked sometimes. Note that the place is at 4200 meters altitude.
