Decided to go on a last minute mini vacation, we are very happy we chose this house. It was clean and homey. Instructions were very clear and easy for check in and check out. It was peaceful, exactly what we needed.

Who is “Evolve”? Is Evolve an automated point-of-contact between Airbnb & the Host? On this site, Evolve encourages questions but gives an automated reply to instead direct questions to the host. Email is only option so waited an hour to learn life vests are in nearby trash tubs and hidden switch for garbage disposal is tucked away under the counter. We found kitchen cabinets too high to reach dishes safely, outdoor trash can full when we arrived - leaving us little room for our 4-day trash/recyclables. Fishing off the dock was disappointing as water was too shallow (3-feet deep forty feet out (early Sept), and sadly, too windy to use the water toys. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend this cabin as a winter get-away with its warm comfy blankets, the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed the solitude, rustic decor, and view of the lake. A good place for family to gather was the main highlight of The Nordic.
