Overall, the house was okay. However, describing it “luxury” accommodations is a stretch. The bathrooms were very small and impractical to use with no counter space. The doors and cabinetry are generally creaky (hinges?) and loud. Bedroom door sticks/brushes the floor. The alarm system loudly announces each time a door was opened or closed, which got annoying fast. The driveway gate did not work the entire stay. Host solution was to leave it open. The worst thing was the unexpected lack of privacy and noise due to… 1) the neighboring house looking directly over pool. This house is so close that when they have their inside lights on, it lights up the whole backyard. The proximity of this house was noticeably absent from the property description and photos. 2. construction next door/below property, which started at 6am every morning except Sunday. Lots of hammering, drilling and workers talking most of the day.

Spectacular views and extremely comfortable accommodations. David had lots of wonderful local suggestions for places to go and things to see and do. The home is about halfway between Dominical and Manuel Antonio so it is well situated. It is true that you need a 4 wheel drive to get to the home buy that is a pretty good idea no matter where you are exploring Costa Rica. Loved everything about this stay!!!❤️

Our stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning panoramic view that took our breath away. The property was nestled in the lush greenery of Costa Rica's landscape, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the expansive terrace with a pool. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee as the sun rose over the horizon or sipping cocktails under a canopy of stars at night, the view was always awe-inspiring. We even spotted some exotic birds like a Toucan several times. The host was incredibly accommodating and provided us with great recommendations for local activities and dining options. We explored nearby beaches, went on nature hikes, and indulged in delicious Costa Rican cuisine, all within easy reach from our Airbnb. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb in Costa Rica exceeded our expectations. It's a perfect retreat

Contactless check in and check out, they provided a gift basket that had snacks and a bottle of wine. I would come back again for a week away from everything.
