This vacation rental/art studio conversion has an eclectic, funky vibe. It features an open floor plan from the kitchen to living room with many windows looking out to the lake and mountain. Nestled in the large Livingroom is a large table, perfect for a workspace. The large sitting room/Livingroom also features two amazing massage chairs for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a futon that can be used as a sleeping area. A 32” Smart TV is featured in this room. There is a full kitchen: including refrigerator with ice maker and electric range. Plenty of pots, pans, platters, dinnerware and real metal utensils. Wine glasses and corkscrew. Paper plates, paper towels and K-cups provided. Kitchen contains many condiments and spices, blender, K-Cup coffee maker, electric can opener, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, teapot and coffee press. There are two dining areas; a small table for four in the kitchen and a larger table for six in the dining room. There is also another large table for four in the living room area, but we also use it as a workspace. In addition, there is a huge bedroom that features two beds; a queen and a double. We also refer to this room as the meditation/exercise room because of the size. This room features twinkle lights and more. It also has some fun musical instruments and exercise equipment that is available during your stay free of charge. There is one a bathroom with large walk-in shower. Complimentary shampoo, soap, feminine products and other amenities available. There is one private bedroom that features a queen size bed. The Sugarloaf Art Cabin has energy-efficient mini-split systems for heating and air with added iWave-M Air Purifiers. The iWave-M Air Purifier reduces allergens, odors, smoke, static electricity, airborne particles and significantly reduces a wide variety of pathogens in the breathing zone and on hard non-porous surfaces. When it comes to accessibility...there is a single step between the kitchen and sitting area and a single step between the reading area and art studio area. The front and back porches also have steps. The exterior features a covered front porch and open-air back porch with lots of seating to take in the beautiful views. The backyard has a unique steppingstone path winding around many whimsical flower beds. In the center is a large, covered fire pit to be used when weather permits; it can get rather windy so please always ensure there is not a burn ban before burning. Bring your own supplies to create....or art supplies is available for purchase to use during your stay. Please let me know upon check in, the supplies that you will need; this will allow me to ensure that I will have everything you will need on hand. I do not want anyone to be uncomfortable with their surroundings since these items are featured on the walls and shelves. Most of my pieces are for sale, and have quite a humorous rapport. Outdoor security cameras located at front and back of property. They are for security purposes only and record the parking area and back yard. They record video ONLY. Home is total electric, so there is no need for carbon monoxide detector. Phone service is very spotty in the area. Wi-Fi calling can be enabled on most cell phones which will allow your cellphone to work while at the property. Interested in Fishing?....Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Bream, Catfish and Crappie are primarily fished for on this lake. Wildlife that can be seen in our area include eagles, deer, squirrels, bullfrogs, fox, mountain lions, black bear, coyote, wild pigs, racoons, opossums, armadillos, many different species of birds and more. Many native plants are located throughout the area. Hiking is allowed along the entire lake front and some areas of the mountain. The small spillway area is nice to visit too. If you feel adventurous, take a trip down the steep trail to the natural waterfall (best view after a rain). The lake is maintained and overseen by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. Please refer to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission website for all lake guidelines if you plan to enjoy time out on the lake. Property is located outside of the city limits, so you will hear gun shots more than likely at some point. The neighbors have a tendency to target practice.
