What a wonderful stay! if you're looking for a quiet place but don't want to be too far from anything, this is the perfect spot! Our host was super communicative and helpful and was flexible with check in and check out. I will also mention that the photos don't do this place justice. The studio is quite spacious, has cooking space inside and out, and the bathroom was more luxurious than we expected. We were a bit worried about paying the electric separately, but understood that it's just part of visiting the island. However they have taken the time and care to put in energy efficient appliances, including the a/c, and after a week the electric bill was less than a mid price meal on the island. It also cools the space quickly and the studio stayed cool throughout the day even though we only ran the a/c while we slept. We look forward to visiting again and can't wait for our next stay!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The hosts were very responsive and respectful. We spent a week there, working remotely so it helped to have reliable wifi (there was only one instance of connectivity issues but the hosts addressed it right away). The studio itself had most of what we needed. If you plan to cook there, keep in mind you’ll have to cook outside on the balcony which wasn’t mentioned on the post. It wasn’t a big issue until the evenings when beetles and insects kept flying at us while we cooked. You’ll also have to buy basic ingredients like cooking oil, seasoning, etc. I was expecting newer and more complete kitchen equipment since it was a new studio (e.g., cutting board and moka pot were old and had build up). The beach was only a 5-minute hilly walk away. Most of the beach has a private entrance but it didn’t seem to be an issue. Definitely recommend renting a car to explore. We also noticed a camera outside facing in but not sure if it was active during our stay.

Die Wohnung von Ilaria ist wirklich sehr schön. Alles sehr neu und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Wenn man gerne mal zu Hause essen möchte ist alles vorhanden. Man muss sich nur die Lebensmittel kaufen, die man möchte. Es gibt ein paar recht hochklassige , dafuer aber auch sehr schöne Restaurants in der Nähe zu denen man gut am Strand entlang hinlaufen kann (dazu muss man erst einen Weg runter gehen bis man direkt am Sandstrand ist). Erwähnen möchte ich, dass die Wohnung nicht besonders lichtdurchflutet ist. Das liegt daran, dass sie im Untergeschoß liegt, aber mit Blick auf viel Grün. Das Gute ist aber, dass sie grade bei grosser Hitze nicht so aufheizt und man es sogar nur mit Ventilator wunderbar aushält. Der Balkon ist auch sehr schön und gross und lädt ein zum Verweilen. Die Stühle sind superbequem, es gibt sogar eine Hängematte! Man geniesst es einfach dort zu sein. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen.... plane schon den nächsten Aufenthalt.

I stayed 12 days at Studio Nomad. Ilaria responded to my communications very quickly and efficiently. Accommodating and unobtrusive, Ilaria provided all the assistance one might want at a Roatan Airbnb, and also gave me space to just be there. The studio is brand new, comfortable and cool, located just a few minutes walk through a very hilly neighborhood to the waterfront at Turtle Beach. The hills are a favorite for me, as I love the exercise and exploring the neighborhood and waterfront. The breeze, the morning and evening bird activity from the patio, and the comfortable home are all reasons I recommend the stay at Studio Nomad.
