Welcome to The Round - our gorgeous holiday home on the banks of Gillan Creek just south of Helford River at the top of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. Buckets of space inside & out, glorious views, moments away from the creek & the coves - we even have our own private quay. The Round leans into its mid-century roots with plenty of rustic rattans & vintage textiles & the occasional nod to its kitsch origins. Super comfy - family & pet friendly. The Round is a 1970s beast of a house - not as handsome as some on the outside but a real beauty on the inside. A lovely big kitchen-dining room leads to a covered patio with a small fire pit . A super snuggly sitting room with wood burner & a mountain of board game makes the perfect alternative place to hunker down when the weather is not so kind. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms including 3 super kings - one with its own balcony & the other two with ensuites. A twin & a bunk room creates an ideal set up for family groups - there two rooms & Bedroom 3 share the family bathroom. All rooms (other than the bunk) have glorious views of Gillan Creek & out to sea. Here are a few kind words from previous guests... Laura, January 2023. We went as a family group of 10, fitted in easily with big bedrooms, lots of entertaining space and 2 large tables to dine at, one inside one out!
