Wendy and Sonny's cottage in Tweedsmuir was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The expansive fenced garden was a paradise for our dog, who had a blast exploring every inch. And the homemade treats they left for us upon arrival were a delightful touch. Wendy and Sonny were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat with. They made sure we had everything we needed for a cosy stay. Their pets, Harley and Dougal, were super friendly and interacted will with our dog, Murphy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. If you're looking for a snug retreat where you and your furry friend can relax, this place is perfect! The cottage is spacious enough for a family of four, offering plenty of room to spread out if you need a family break. I'll definitely be bookmarking this gem for future getaways!

We had a lovely stay at the Bell Cottage with our 5 year old son. Wendy is absolutely lovely and we were welcomed with delicious home baked goods and lovely treats. The cottage is tastefully decorated, private and has all you may needs. Wendy let our son meet her dogs and arranged so he could see some little lambs. He had the absolute best time. We really enjoyed the area and cannot wait to come back!

We had such a lovely, relaxed short stay. Super friendly, welcoming hosts. Lovely unexpected touches on arrival; home-baked muffins were a winner. The bespoke OS map was a point of genius according to my husband! Our 2 dogs loved it, including the treats. Will look to return and do more dog walks, biking at Glentress and with stunning landscape right on the doorstep, it is great for artists too. Cosy, quiet and well equipped property with everything you need. Thank you to Sonny and Wendy for opening up your home for us to stay.
