Nice quiet neighborhood with the view of the mountain and to go for a walk in the nature.
for restaurant's we have few kebabs and pizza shops near by
also by Mall of Switzerland we have a nice Asian restaurant /McDonald's if you like fast food and a movie theater
If you're into fitness there's also 2 gym in walking distance.

Getting around in Buchrain is easy. I live 6 minutes away from the train station Buchrain and also a 1 minutes' walk to the bus stop with bus 22 .
If you're coming from Luzern Bahnof and you have really heavy luggage, I suggest you take the S1 train to Ebikon Bahnof and then take the Buss 22 to Buchrain, Kirchbreite to only walk 1 minutes to the apartment with your luggage.
if you take S1 directly to Buchrain with your heavy luggage, it might be difficult to walk up the steps leading up to the apartment.. if you don't have luggage, then it's fine to reach in 6 minutes walking
There's the S1 train that goes to Luzern main station every 21 minutes pass an hour or 56 minutes pass an hour for example 8:21 and the next train will be 8:56..
If you're going in the opposite direction, the S1 train is every hour, and the next is in 32 minutes
example 8:00 next is 8:32
Another option of getting to Luzern City is to take the number 1 bus at Ebikon Fildern, which is about 7/9 minutes from the apartment if you're a fast walker.
