The house/mansion was exactly what we needed and expected for our group of 14 adults. The rooftop deck was an excellent place to hangout and watch the sunset, offering a wonderful view of downtown! The ground level covered porch was also a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Alex was very responsive when we asked about chair cushions for the porch (he brought what appeared to be brand new cushions within about 15 minutes of our call). Alex also brought a dozen cookies from a local baker, with the cushions as a treat for our group. Most of the beds were deemed “very comfortable”, and the air conditioning certainly worked on the 2nd floor. The home itself was an exceptionally cool mix of modern and historic, and the information detailing the history of the home added to its intrigue. The house is still a work in progress, although none of the “punch list” issues were impactful to us. We would definitely stay there again!
Very spacious and well out together. We were able to celebrate my sisters 30th with some fun downtown and then unwind back at this wonderful home.
Home feeling. Quiet.
This House was absolutely perfect for my family and friends. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone, but still had breathing room. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. Many of the my guest inquired about renting it again for a short family vacation. I only had two small issues (not big enough to regret my stay) but our host addressed them promptly. One, there were not enough towels for my guest. I reached out and it was immediately taken care of. The second was the there was not enough toilet tissue in the bathrooms. We just picked some up while we were out. and last, I wish the kitchen had more cooking utensils. there was only 1 pot, 1 frying pan, maybe 1 or2 baking pans. this make it difficult to cook for a large group. I did not reach out about the tissue or pots and pans, I'm sure it would have been addressed, But we ran out and bought a few things and continued to enjoy our stay. All in all I would highly recommend .
Nice place. The team enjoyed the stay. A little older and furniture could be updated (e.g. beds were very soft), but overall not bad. Some of the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper, so we had to go buy some. A little attention to details, and it would have been 5 stars.

Hi there! Our names are Marcus Cruz, Alex Cruz and Lewis Sharp. The three of us partnered up on what’s been a challenging but fun Airbnb experience. The three of us have almost completely different skill sets and experience levels in the hospitality industry, but it’s that diversity in experience that gives us an edge when it comes to accomplishing our most important goal… Creating the best Airbnb experience in San Antonio. We do have have some very important things in common too, namely our love for San Antonio, including our history and culture. Growing up in San Antonio and choosing to stay here has made us some of the most knowledgeable hosts in the city. If you look closely at other listings or hosts in SA, you will quickly realize that the majority of hosts and co-hosts are from other cities or states. That may not seem like too big of a deal to some, but it should be! One of the best parts of Airbnb is that it has the potential to to drive otherwise unaware visitors to legitimately great nearby businesses. To make those kind of recommendations hosts shouldn’t rely on things like yelp and trip advisor, they should rely on experience. Otherwise everybody looses, including the guests and those businesses that are new or too busy to invest resources into their Yelp ranking. That’s why we love being hosts, it gives us the opportunity to show our guests why we love this city and what makes it special. Our first property, a early 19th century 7 bedroom 7 bathroom historic mansion, is a perfect fit for what we love doing. It’s such an interesting place to be and experience by itself. It’s one the first Bed in Breakfasts in San Antonio and was operated like a hotel. We honestly couldn’t have found a better place. It has unlimited potential and is already the best Airbnb in the city for those who love history.
