Highly recommend staying with Margaret! Clean and very comfortable room in a wonderful location - easy to get to any destination in London, so close to public transit! Room was clean and so comfortable. Margaret is such a sweet and gracious host! I hope this room is available when I visit London again!
Margaret’s room is very clean and comfortable. It is well-located, just several minutes to old street tube and full of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The utensils in the room are well equipped. Margaret is very nice and helpful. She changed my bedsheet immediately after I told her I made a stain on it.
The room is spacious and clean. Most of the places can be reached easily via public transport and the stations are less than 10 minutes walk. Supermarkets are reachable within 10 minutes by walk. I enjoyed my stay there.

This is how Air BnB should be. Over the last couple of years I've had some not great Air BnB experiences in this area of London - "hosts" who did not actually live on the premises and who you never met: just a case of collecting a key from a key safe on the outside wall and going in to a flat where every room bar the kitchen and toilet has been turned into a very basic bedroom: a kind of bleak "bedsit-land". But Margaret's place is quite the opposite and exactly how it should be - she lives there, you're the only guest, the place is richly decorated and furnished - cosy and "homey" - it felt like having my own little London flat, not just the kind of spartan "place to sleep" I've had previously. Margaret was very welcoming & communicative & location was ideal for my work. Close to Old Street tube and street to right of there is good for supermarkets & eating places. This would certainly be top of my list for any future visits - highly recommended.
