Tried to give this host the benefit of a doubt even though the place only had 3.8 stars. The advertisement is very deceptive. I'm black and know a hood area vs a southern community when I see one. The trap house was literally around the corner and a crackhead was circling the block. There were no outside lights and the fenced driveway on one side, with stairway on the other made it very difficult to exit the vehicle. We had to use phone flashlights to find the lockbox, then figure out which of the three keys opened the BURGLAR bar door, then the front door. Once inside, it was even worse. Smelled like weed and must, the ENTIRE home was filthy. Dirty floors, dirty linens, dirty bathrooms, dirty kitchen. Toothpaste splatter all over sinks and mirrors. Broken shower curtain rods on the floor in three bathrooms. ALL of the bedroom and bathroom blinds were broken so we had to cover windows with sheets. When ny 12 yr old tried to barricade his bathroom door, I was done and we left.

No TV’s!!! If I pay for a spot like that, I should be comfortable And have something convenient like a TV that should be the least of entertainment… Plumbing needs improvement and some of the door knobs needs improvement and no porch light… With the money that was paid for the weekend should cover for the upgrade on everything that was mentioned… IJS IT’S A NICE SPOT, BUT THINGS COULD BE JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER…

We had a good time! We were attending a convention in the Coliseum & the house was very close to a lot of places in Macon! Although previous reviews did not have good comments about the location, I did not feel uncomfortable. It is very calm neighborhood, no noise. Each room has its bathroom which is great when you have a large family. The beds were very comfortable. I believe communication is a important key.. & Tristan always responded quickly when I sent him messages. One thing to have in mind, there's not a common space for a table to sit down & eat, like a living room. Also there's not a lot of space for parking, max 2 cars.
