We had a wonderful stay here for a girls weekend! We loved the amenities here- pool/hottib, pickleball court and basketball hoop! We used them all! The hosts were great and easy to work with- arranged an earlier check-in. the grill was out of propane but the host was quick to respond and brought us a new one!

We went to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday with five of our married children and their spouses. We all like to play pickle ball so that was a highlight having a nice court in the backyard with chairs and outdoor couches etc. for watching as well. The weather was just starting to get warm around 93° and the pool water was a little chilly still, but refreshing specially after playing. The Jacuzzi was great to relax in as well. We even played golf on the course that runs right behind the house, It was a reasonable $25 Nine hole course for us who aren’t major golfers . We cooked breakfast and made a few lunches there, but went out to eat dinners , but the kitchen was well stocked. They had a lot of games and a nice flat screen in the living room and a large screen with projection TV but we didn’t use any of that because we were so tired from being out all day and playing pickle ball until 10 o’clock each night. A great stay for us !!

We had a short stay with a group of University Students working on a project with local museums. They loved the pickleball court and movie room.

The main motivation for booking this place was the amenities. Unfortunately, they were not as up to par as would be expected for the price. The pickleball court was great for casual play and playing with family/kids, but a true pickleball enthusiast might find the space behind the lines inadequate for more competitive play if that is what you are looking for. The beds were not comfortable and the hot tub was dirty and needed maintenance. One of the sink faucets in the main bathroom had a hand written sign saying not to use it. The sign had water stains on it and had clearly been there for a while. There were also sticky notes on exterior doors throughout the house saying “don’t open.” Not sure if they were broken or if the owners just didn’t want them used. There were hardly any towels in the bathrooms. We eventually found extras in the laundry room but had virtually no hand towels. Overall, the pictures looked great but I don’t feel that what we got was worth the price.

Our family had the best time staying here. We played a lot of pickleball & basketball. Great family house with a lot of space. Great Kitchen!
