The apartment was charming and cozy, but it didn’t suit us well as a family with a baby. It was small, and therefore quickly became cluttered when we had a stroller and several bags. We discovered ants on the floor, and despite our efforts to avoid spilling food, it was difficult to get rid of them. The host confirmed that this could be a problem. When we were about to leave, we found a cockroach in the cupboard where the dishwasher is located, which was a disgusting way to end our stay. The host also confirmed that this was a problem in the area and that efforts are being made to address it. This being said, it is probably a nice apartment for a couple without children, and it is close to the beach and the old town.

The apartment is really comfortable, convenient for the beach, close to the middle of the town with lots of bars and restaurants but in a quiet area away from it all! A perfect location! We had everything we needed and more within the apartment and Bruno made sure our stay was very comfortable and was always there to answer questions, often within minutes! He is the most attentive host! Bruno gave us a list of restaurants he recommended and we managed to eat at some of those during our stay and they were great! I would also like to add ‘Staar’ to the list of recommended restaurants, just totally amazing! And also if you want a lovely quiet drink (well it was for us in March!) then I would recommend ‘In-Certo cafe’. We also enjoyed the walk from town to Sao Rafael via the marina, a good 2 miles away but a beautiful beach and well worth the visit. Thank you Bruno, we really enjoyed our stay 😊

Really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is centrally located yet nestled in a lovely quiet little street. Just a 2 minute walk to the beautiful square!! Inside the premises was a lovely little kitchen and a spacious bedroom. There was every electric appliance you would wish for available such as microwave oven, toaster, iron, dishwasher etc.. WiFi is free with excellent coverage. Access to lots of European and American channels on the television. Host Bruno is a top guy. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I would definately love to stay in this accommodation again. 5 stars.
