Room Turn, now also available on Airbnb, is situated at Pr'Hribar, a traditional alpine small scale cattle farm. From May 15 until the end of November, the cows are away, enjoying their mountain pasture vacation. The room has a balcony, it's own bathroom, accessible just outside the room door, while the kitchen is shared with two other rooms. Pr'Hribar is away from the tourist crowds, but still only a walk away from the lake Bled (20-30min) and Vintgar gorge (30-40min).

Tolle Unterkunft auf einem Bauernhof mit schönem Blick auf die Burg von Bled und die Berge. Ideal um die Umgebung zu erkunden, abseits vom Trubel. Wir hatten ein Rad dabei und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Matratze sehr bequem. Gerne wieder :-)

1. Walk. If you prefer driving, a vacation in Bled probably isn't for you. In a shopping mall district parking is free, plentiful and everything is suited to cars. Bled is the exact opposite of that.
2. Cycle, but keep in mind this isn't a cycling paradise - apart from the lakeside promenade, which tends to be too crowded for cycling in the height of summer anyway, there isn't all that much of flat terrain. There is a reason bike rentals here consist almost exclusively of mountain bikes.
3. Driving in the Bled lake area, kind of defeats the purpose of choosing to have a stay in Bled. The area is scenic to walk through but parking is expensive and scarce. If you are in a hurry, you can get snapped by all of the tourist traps within one day, you don't need to have a stay in Bled for that... Or you can enjoy hiking on over 150km of trails in about 8kmx8km area, carved by glaciers and covered by woods and meadows.
