We have a lovely newly built wooden house with large windows. Large terrace and beautiful views. Natural garden. We live in a historic area with beautiful nature, woods, fjords and many historic sights and places to visit. Easy access to train: Roskilde, Copenhagen and Holbæk. Main highway through Sealand is just 5km away. Only 5 minutes to train station with departures to Copenhagen every hour. Transport time to Copenhagen Central Station: 35 minutes by express train. The house in the outskirts of a small town, with a superb location in Skjoldungerne National Park. A green and tranquil area with easy access to supermarkets in the town center (less than 1km away). Sweet neighbors and a great open view of green areas. The house accommodates a family of 5: master bedroom and 3 childrens’ rooms (2x140cm beds and one sofa couch). A large open kitchen and dining room, with direct access to a big wooden terrace: ideal for outside summer dining and bbq. TV room and couch area.

Hvalsø is a small town that has everything you need in terms of shopping (3 supermarkets, bakery, cafes and pizzerias, doctor’s consultation, dental clinic, pharmacy etc. all within a 1km radius). The station connects the rest of Sealand via main railway: Roskilde and Holbæk 15 min and Copenhagen 35min. Train station is 5 minutes from our house.
The woods are in the ‘back yard’ - less than 1km away. Skjoldungerne National Park offers many spectacular sights: Sagnlandet Lejre; beautiful hikes in beautiful ice age highland (Sealands highest point Gyldenløveshøj is 5km away). Ejby Ådal is worth a visit - and Avnstrup Lake (4km) in the woods. Hvalsø has a cosy local cinema right next to the train station.

Roskilde and Holbæk are 15-20km away (15 minute train ride) and have fjords and harbours and historic monuments - as well as shopping, restaurants and cafes. Copenhagen (50km or 35min by train) gives you Tivoli amusement park, beautiful old castles and the harbour among many other things.
Public transportation is easily accessed and ticketing / pass may be used for the railway, metro and busses all over (see DSB website and “Rejseplanen” app).
Private parking at the house. Trampoline for the children. Tesla Supercharger less than 5km away.
