Known locally as the Cliff House, this is one of Wheeling WV's most iconic homes, perched atop the historic "Vineyard Hill". The interior is equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 luxurious full baths, fully appointed kitchen, spacious great-room, & cantilevered sunroom perched over the cliff.... all decorated with unique flair. The exterior offers a private pool/patio with sweeping views, and a full-length balcony. ...all within mere blocks of Downtown Wheeling, and 10-min drive to Oglebay Park. Guests have access to 3 bedrooms, a great room with open concept kitchen, and have 24/7 access to the private pool. There is a completely separate apartment in the building, which is currently occupied by the maintenance man, a kind elderly gentleman with a helpful disposition.

Daniel was extremely timely and helped us any time we needed it. However great location. I would definently stay here again and plan to next year if available.
We had a comfortable stay at this Airbnb and it was spacious for the amount of people we were with.
Great place to bring the family to connect with each other. None of us were on our phones or watching TV. We needed this. Thank you guys. The view alone was enough.

If you're looking for less steps in a mountainous area, this is it. Front door is level with the street. From the moment we opened the front door we were enthralled. The kids declared it better than our house. Meals (day or night) with this view is like living a dream. My husband and the kids set up our portable easel and painted the gorgeous foliage of the Ohio Valley autumn that surrounds Wheeling and the Ohio River making beautiful momentos of our trip. They also enjoyed table top pool and playing the several guitars and ukulele available. The house is eclectically appointed and full of art, your eye is always drawn to something interesting. It also has an interesting history worth reading about. The house is full of plants, the beds are comfortable, and Daniel is a fully communicative and responsive host. If you're going to stay in Wheeling, this is the place to stay.

Just up the hill from all of Downtown Wheeling's offerings, including Heritage Port (home of Heritage Music Bluesfest), WesBanco Arena, hospitals, governmental offices, and a wide range of locally-owned restaurants and boutique shops.
The Cliff House is just down the street from the urban agricultural endeavors of Grow Ohio Valley, including greenhouses and an urban apple orchard.
2 off-street parking spots (in covered carriage-port), and ample free on-street parking. Most of Downtown's amenities will require a short drive (under 2 minutes), as the mountain is formidable to climb on foot (unless you are in great shape :)
