Last Minute idea to head away for the long weekend, Found "The Snug" near Kilmore Quay. The Host was super helpful, with instructions and local recommendations, and also very flexible with arrival and leaving times. The Snug was perfect for us, a lovely stove fireplace. It was warm and cosy. It's a lovely area, the location of the property was a short didtance to the local pubs/ restaurant. There's plenty of parking at these establishments. The food was excellent in Mary Barrys pub. Also got to explore The Quay area, and with the sunny warm weather, we managed to get the 5km plus coastal walk. it was a gorgeous day. tip for walk, waterproof footwear. as some areas had deep puddles across the trail. the sea was amazing to watch as well. we were luckly with the weather on this trip. We were very lucky to find this property available on the October Bank holiday weekend. I will hopefully get to visit it again. 5 stars for me. Many Thanks to the Host for a wonderful weekend.

The snug is a beautiful little place to stay has everything you need. Beautiful countryside and lovely walks surround it not too far from the beach.

We stayed in the Snug last week. The house was exactly as we hoped it would be... very cosy and very clean... it was great that we could bring our dog as well. It's a beautiful, peaceful place. Jacquie was a great host.. she gave us plenty of space but if we needed anything she was there. We would highly recommend it. Thanks again Jacquie.

Jacquie accommodated us at the last minute and was super helpful! 'The Snug' was just that - nice and quiet, comfortable with everything we needed for a two night stay within reach of some good days out exploring the area
