A renovated and spacious apartment in a tranquil yet convenient corner of Hong Kong, with easy access to shops and restaurants, MTR, buses, and taxis. - 15 min by MTR or bus to Central Station - 10 min by MTR or bus to Causeway Bay and shopping - 25 min direct buses to Kowloon Weekly cleaning available for stays of at least two weeks. Large (700+ sq ft) furnished and well-equipped apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in quiet residential neighborhood. Main bedroom features queen-size bed, small desk, and ensuite bathroom with shower. Second room is mainly used as a study, but can be used as bedroom. Bright living area has a flat-screen television, queen-size sofa-bed, and coffee table, and opens onto a balcony. Kitchen and dining area has a dining table, large-size refrigerator, stove top, convection oven, microwave, and combo washer-dryer. Second bathroom next to kitchen features a shower. There is also a separate small room used as a closet.
We stayed 7 nights at John’s apartment. The unit is very large given Hong Kong’s tiny standards. It has also been renovated and has a modern feel. 2 bedroooand 2 bathrooms is a luxury! John’s kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. John also was easy to reach and helped us with our queries. The unit is located up a hill so there are steps going up if you go there by foot. When you reach the bottom of the hill there are plenty of local food restaurants and supermarkets which is really convenient. Access : would recommend new keys / access card for easier access to the unit.
It’s a spacious apartment in the heart of Hong Kong. We love North Point where you can have everything yet also have nature around you. John is an excellent host - he showed us the apartment and were really friendly and caring! We will definitely book again if we visit Hong Kong again.
John's apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It got fairly chilly. and John has everything you need to stay warm. It is within walking distance to many local restaurants and markets. In terms of transportation, you can walk easily to the MTR station, the tram, or the buses. I would definitely consider booking it again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at John's apartment. It had the space and utilities essential for a comfortable stay. The apartment is up the side of a hill and involves a steep walk so may not appeal to people who have mobility or fitness issues. Overall good value for money and I would definitely stay there again in future.
John’s place is a walkable distance away from North Point’s hustle and bustle, but is not highly affected by the crowd and noise. His place gives a home-feeling vibe and is well-equipped. We especially liked the provision of two toilets, so my friend and I didn’t have to fight for it. John has been really helpful as he kindly told me there were portable heaters for us in case the weather was freezing cold. (And we did use them as there were a couple of cold days during our stay.) Overall we enjoyed staying at John’s place and North Point.
The apartment is located in a residential part of North Point, a bustling neighborhood centrally located on Hong Kong Island, with King’s Road, a main thoroughfare running through it, and many businesses on Java Road. Quarry Bay is also within easy walking distance, and Causeway Bay, Central, and beyond a short ride away. In the immediate area, there are three shopping centers with supermarkets and plenty of dining options. The harborfront is literally five minutes from the apartment, and is convenient for jogs, walks, and exercise.
The apartment is five to ten minutes to the North Point and Quarry Bay MTR stations, fewer than five to nearby buses that conveniently go toward most destinations on Hong Kong Island, and also cross-harbor ones too. Markets, shops, and restaurants are plentiful and just a couple of minutes' walk away.
