Glenys & Alun are absolutely wonderful attentive hosts that are easy to talk to and make you feel extremely welcome. We had a fabulous stay at their beautiful property set in the most picturesque area. We could not recommend staying here enough and very much look forward to returning again!

I booked a surprise break for my parents (50th wedding anniversary) and chose Ty Newydd because of the quiet location, beautiful surroundings and also being close to Conwy where my parents had met 60yrs ago. Although I didn't join them on their holiday, the daily updates from them were bursting with enthusiasm and joy! I really couldn't have booked a better place with better hosts. By the second day my parents had been on a day hike with Glenys and a firm friendship started to form! They loved sitting out in the garden enjoying the views with home made flapjacks and coffee and chatting with the other guests. Glenys provided great recommendations for places to eat out and visit and could not have made them feel more welcome or at home. Fortunately the weather was very kind during their stay and hikes up the Great Orme and Conwy Mountain were superb. So many happy memories were brought back and new ones were made. Thank you Glenys, you made two young-at-heart oldies fall in love with North Wales again...and next time they visit I shall join them too!
