Forget about the EXPENSIVE parking, just walk to the Saddledome to watch a hockey game, a concert, or for a convention.
Calgary downtown has the world most extensive pedestrain skywalk network called the "Plus 15". This SKYWALK network with a total length of 16 kilometers and 86 bridges connecting to 130 buildings in downtown.
The C-train is FREE to commute within the DOWNTOWN core areas.
The must-visit Calgary Zoo is only two train stops away from downtown,
and the Telus Spark Science Centre is only across the road from the Zoo.
ON-IT Banff and Canmore Commuter is also available on the weekends in downtown (Summer only) for $10 each way to tour Banff and Canmore to view the Rocky Mountains!! The $10 fare also includes connected buses to
other parts and parks of Banff for the day.
Safeway and Co-op are both close by for shopping groceries.
Bus and C-train are close by. Or call an Uber or Lyft, or use Communauto
(car share) for only 41 cent per minute (includes gas) within the city!
