恩菲尔德 · 民居里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住1人 · Blue Room in an 1803 farmhouse
You will sleep well in the Blue Room in a restored 1803 New Hampshire farm. Fall asleep to a chorus of frogs, peepers, and other wildlife. Hike along old logging trails, enjoy the view from the hill, or unwind in the gazebo near the pond. It's hard to believe you're only 30 minutes from Hanover, home of Dartmouth College, and all the Upper Valley has to offer. The Blue Room features an antique rope bed, shorter and narrower than modern doubles, it is perfect for one smaller adult. The farmhouse was built in 1803 and was used as a safe hiding spot on the Underground Railroad. Completely restored and renovated with modern necessities, it is at the end of a dead-end dirt road, very private and quiet. There are old logging roads and a former, now-closed, state road for hikes in the woods. Two televisions, a deck, and a granite patio with a fire pit and grills are at your disposal. Breakfast is served in the downstairs dining room daily.
Had lovely stay here! Eric and Molly were fabulous hosts, their home is beautiful and restful. Their pets are amazing!!! The area is lovely with many trails, next time I’ll explore more.
This place is MAGICAL! My second stay here and more wonderful the second. I cannot believe the serenity this place exudes. Eric and Molly are the most gracious hosts. The views are nothing short of spectacular, you absolutely cannot believe how close you are to town. The pictures do not do justice to the views. At night I watched a deer grazing! The white horse was another great visual treat. Sophie the cat chatted with me and gave me my cat fix while away from home. I am a poor sleeper, but my bed was so comfortable and the still of the night kept me in slumber. Molly and Eric were beyond caring and made sure I had whatever I needed. This place is really a destination spot. There are trails and multiple places to sit and enjoy the vistas. When I was there the first time we had a fire; Eric offered to set up another just for me! I think if I had anything not to my liking it's that both times I didn't have time to stay longer. It is just that great!
My friend & I had a delightful stay at Eric & Molly’s place. They were exceptional hosts, and their home is absolutely beautiful. If you appreciate old homes that have been meticulously updated, this is the B&B for you. Both the house and the surrounding land are authentically New England - complete with stone walls, hand-hewn beams and turkeys (yes, turkeys!) My friend and I spent several hours knitting and communing with Eric & Molly’s sweet pets in a comfortable sitting room. Our breakfasts were delicious and made-to-order, and our bedrooms were quiet, comfortable and - like the rest of the house - full of lovingly chosen design elements & details. My friend and I had such a nice stay that we’re planning to return when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and some of Eric’s homemade cider.
Great place and wonderful host. Highly recommend this beautiful property with kind and gracious hosts.
Eric and Molly were so accommodating and made me feel like part of the family! They were the most hospitable Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. Eric makes a lot of homemade food and insisted on making breakfast every morning which was such a treat! Plus they have the sweetest animals. Thank you guys again!
Single-family homes in a semi-rural area approximately 30 minutes from Hanover, NH. Convenient to I-89 and all that the Upper Valley offers. The house is at the very end of a dead-end dirt road, very peaceful, surrounded by natural beauty.
If guests do not have cars, there is a public bus in Lebanon, but not in our more rural area. We may be able to drive guests around, say, to Dartmouth College, but this depends on scheduling. Please ask.
