We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was there or easily gotten and we were kept informed of any happening around the property during our stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quiet, safe, and remote yet close to amenities place in a beautiful scenic location.

Die Unterkunft und die Lage hat uns sehr angesprochen. Das umgebene Tal ist wunderschön, wenn man sich allerdings eher an der north shore oder im Osten der Insel über den Tag aufhalten will, so entstehen grosse Autostrecken. Ich bin relativ heikel beim Schlafen & mich haben die Fensterrollos in Bettnähe gestört, da die nicht komplett abdunkelten. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr gut ausgestattet und total heimelig.

Wanted to stay someplace quiet and affordable away from the tourism and this place fit perfectly. I can't think of any amenities Kerstan and Jerelle did not provide but I can absolutely say that on top of the basics, the fine touches provided like beach kit and SUNSCREEN(!) and after-sun lotion were very much appreciated and the mark of thoughtful hosts that are in tune with the needs of their guests. I found out on my way in that Waianae is noticeably rougher around the edges than how you might visualize Hawaii in your mind but there is no need for concern because the house is only accessible by a staffed gate entrance. Check-in was simple, and the gate attendant even described how to get to the house once I was in. On a clear day it takes about 45 minutes to get to the airport. If you're going back in the morning during the week, give yourself 20 extra minutes for traffic. Starts picking up around 5AM.
