This huge lake-front property feels like home; cozy, classy and fun! This 5-bedroom home has a bathroom in EVERY bedroom! Three living room areas, plenty of dining space, a wet bar area, a game table, 7 TV's, and an arcade machine.! Outside you will find an easy and short walk to the lake with a double-slip boathouse, a new firepit with large patio, and the most beautiful sunset and sunrise views! The deep water is perfect for fishing, swimming, and boating! We like to think that our home is a casual and comfy place to get away and relax. White Noise machines are in 4 of the 5 bedrooms for those that may need them. Our family enjoys it here and we want our guests to as well! The area has a lot to offer if you want to stay busy(see Guidebook) or you can just simply chill on the lake and around the house. With 2 boat slips and 2 jet ski lifts in the boathouse you are welcome to bring your personal watercraft with you. One slip accommodates a pontoon boat up to 24 feet, and the other accommodates a v-hull type boat up to 24 feet and 4000 lbs. Please make sure to notify us if you are bringing your own watercraft. If you are interesting in renting a boat we can refer you to several people that rent pontoon boats here. For your outdoor use while you are staying at Hycotherapy we provide the following: -2 Kayaks with paddles -2 Paddle Boards with paddles -Lilly-pad(swim pad) for use around dock -assorted fishing poles(limited tackle) -Hammock -firewood for fire pit -gas grill -an abundance of outdoor seating -badminton set -miscellaneous life vests in various sizes(recommend you bring your own if needed) Please note that you will need to get a permit for your personal watercraft from the Lake Authority if you choose to bring it. Also, if fishing you will need to have a fishing license; available at the Marina. You can also get bait and additional fishing tackle there.

Everyone loved the house! Several of them have mentioned they will return with their family and friends. This reservation was used for a pastors' retreat and everyone had plenty of space, their own room and bathroom. It was ideal for this purpose and they look forward to returning next year!
Gorgeous spot right on the lake. 16 mins from VIR. Responsive hosts and each bedroom gets its own private full bathroom.
It was if family or a great friend allowed us to use their home....and wanted us to not have to lift a finger! Exceptionally clean with what appeared to be brand new furniture in a beautifully decorated home. We stayed in Mid-March and only wish we could have taken full advantage of their beautiful lake location. No question - we'd stay again.
Great place at end of road. Plenty of parking. Very open layout with lots of lighting. We didn’t get to use the fire pit but that looks like an awesome setup.
I can’t say enough great things about this home. Franklin was extremely helpful and very quick to respond. We had a few questions and he responded almost immediately. As far as his home, it was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we walked in, we were amazed at the space, the view, and how clean the house was! The house has so many rooms and communal spaces to spend time. The outside area with the fire pit was perfect for roasting s’mores and playing corn hole. The air was a bit chilly outside so we didn’t get to take advantage of some of the other outdoor activities, but there were several available! There were also plenty of recommendations of local attractions and restaurants. Truly, I cannot say enough great things about our stay. We’re already planning a trip back when it’s warmer!

Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood with paved road access all the way to our house. Everyone is very friendly! Please respect the neighbors and keep noise at reasonable levels.
Our house is the 2nd to the last house on a paved road. There are a total of 10 houses on our road. Some are full-time residents, some are part-time and some are rental properties. We have parking at our house for easily 6-8 vehicles; enough to accommodate the maximum allowed 14 guests.
