贝尔维尤 · 整套客房 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Private Garden Guest Suite
Your garden suite is in a quiet Bellevue neighborhood, close to Robinswood Park, a grocery store, I-90/I-405, Bellevue College, and a short drive to Microsoft, T-Mobile, Downtown Bellevue & Seattle. There is a keyless entrance, brand new appliances, an AC, an umbrella patio set, a BBQ, and on/off street parking. We have cameras facing the driveway/walkway for security. We provide coffee beans/maker, tea, a tea kettle, toaster, pots, pans, WiFi, air filter, and a TV to watch your favorite shows. Your guest suite is a 330SF ADU/MIL that is on the side of our primary residence that was completely remodeled in the spring of 2023. We have tried to think of everything we would have liked in an Airbnb and provided these amenities for our guests. While it is a nice cozy space, it may not be ideal for everyone, for example if you are looking for a space that has a large lounging space with a sofa, this would not be a fit for you. We have hosted great guests, including families with infants/toddlers who loved our garden suite. Most of our guests appreciate our thoughtful touches and lounge on the bed or chair while watching TV or reading (if they are not out and about exploring the area or working). When you walk into the suite, it opens into a multipurpose kitchen/laundry space with a cushioned bench to put your shoes under and a high top table to enjoy your meals at. The thermostat is set at 68F which is usually comfortable for most as it keeps the space between 68-70F. You can adjust it via the controller above the high top table. Instructions for this is in the house manual. There are disposable house slippers under the bench for you to use in the space. There is a small hallway into the bedroom with a natural hypoallergenic latex queen bed, a wool rug, and a 42” TV to view your favorite on demand shows. The bathroom is just off the bedroom and has a low lip shower and some convenient items in case you forgot something. The closet has a place to hang your clothes, a dresser, a clothes drying rack, vacuum cleaner, a luggage rack, and some shelving (as well as storage under the bed). There is a desk with some shelving and a rolling chair for those who need a workplace. If the weather is nice, be sure to relax at the outdoor patio table and enjoy the birds (Anna’s hummingbirds are year round residents here, chickadees, wrens, junkos, finches, sparrows, woodpeckers) and trees while sipping your favorite beverage.
A great stay, Lorina and Mike were Very welcoming and helpful. The property was excellent
Lorina’s place was wonderful. It was easy to find, clean, and inviting . There were many extras available to the guest in case the guest forgot toiletries and much more to make this stay very comfortable. Lorina and mike are very friendly and are a joy to converse with. I learned about the pacific nw and Hawaii. The neighborhood is safe and it’s close to many things like hiking shopping and fine restaurants. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. You won’t be disappointed.
A quiet neighborhood in South Bellevue, close to I-90/I-405, Robinswood park, QFC, with easy access to Bellevue, Seattle, Issaquah, Microsoft, and T-Mobile.
We live in the suburbs of south Bellevue, a convenient drive to many places. Please plan with the King County metro planner or your GPS for the time you need to get somewhere as traffic can impact your commuting times. There is on/off street parking available.
Walking:
You can walk to the grocery store (QFC, 10 min), Robinswood park (8 min), Spiritwood park (3 min), a few restaurants (Teriyaki, Japanese sandwich place, Indian; 10 min), a coffee shop in Champions center (near the gas station off 148th Ave SE, 11 min), and a Starbucks (in QFC, 10 min).
FYI: Seattle is a city that is a conglomeration of neighborhoods. Many things are accessible via public transit, or bicycling but most people here drive to get where they need to go.
To get to downtown Bellevue and Seattle you will need to drive, take an Uber/Lyft, bike, or King County Metro (bus) - you could walk to downtown Bellevue but it is 4.2 miles away and may take you 1.5 hours (nice on a sunny day); biking to downtown Bellevue takes about 27 minutes.
Parking is free in Bellevue in most places and in Seattle there are meters or paid lots (in Seattle neighborhoods there may be free parking but it is crowded and check the posted signs about parking rules - add at least 15 minutes to your travel time to find a parking spot).
Bus/public transit:
We are a 5 min walk to a main bus line (check King County Metro bus schedules for a trip planner (https://tripplanner(dot)kingcounty(dot)gov/#/app/tripplanning) or download the Transit Go app for King County metro to plan your trip and purchase any tickets needed); the closest bus stops are on 148th Ave SE and SE 22nd Street (on both sides of the road - there is an pedestrian overpass so you don’t need to cross the road) or 145 Pl SE and SE 22nd Street in Bellevue. You also can Uber/Lift your way to your chosen destination.
Bus lines to downtown Bellevue: 221, 226, 245, 271
Bus lines to Seattle: varies depending where you need to go: You can take bus line 221 to Eastgate park and ride then take bus line 218 into Downtown Seattle.
It’s best to plug your trip into the King county metro trip planner as it can tell you the average time it takes and what transfers to do or when you need to leave to get to your destination by a certain time.
Driving directions:
Airport: We are anywhere from 18-35 minutes (17 miles) to SeaTac airport depending on traffic.
Downtown Seattle: Across I-90 bridge (non-tolled) and about 18-20 minutes (11 miles) depending on traffic.
Downtown Bellevue: About 11 minutes away (4.2 miles) - various routes to take.
Microsoft campus: About 10-15 minutes (4.3 miles) away.
T-mobile campus: About 7-10 minutes away (2 miles).
Downtown Kirkland: 15 minutes away (9.2 miles).
Downtown Issaquah: 12 minutes away (7.5 miles).
Downtown Everett: 41 minutes (27 miles).
WA-520 is a tolled bridge and you can sign up for a Good to Go pass account online to pay for your toll as it is cheaper than waiting to get a bill (it takes a picture and sends you a bill about 1 month out). You can purchase a good to go pass and pre fill it and put a sticker or pass in your car to get auto deducted for your trips if you plan to live in the area.
I-405 has an express lane (far left lane only) that is tolled depending on the time you use it and how far you drive on it. Sometimes it may say it is free (look for the signs above the lane or if you have a good to go pass, you switch into HOV mode if you have 2+ people in the car)
Carpool lanes:
WA-520 has a carpool lane (far left lane only) that is 3+ passengers only between the hours of 5am-7pm. There is a hefty fine if you use it without the desired number of passengers in the car.
I-5 has a carpool lane (far left lane only) that is always in effect.
Motorcyclists can drive in the carpool lane at all times.
Red Light Camera intersections:
There are a few intersections in Bellevue that are red light camera monitored. One is 148th Ave SE and Bel-Red Rd and another is on Main Street and 148th Ave. Make sure you completely stop at a red light then you can take a right on red.
Blinking yellow lights:
For left turns at intersections you will sometimes come across a blinking yellow light and it means yield to oncoming traffic and turn if it is safe.
Turning on a red light:
You can turn on a red light if you completely stop and yield to oncoming traffic UNLESS a sign is posted NO turn on red.
Bicycle lane:
Be careful when going into the far right lane or turning as we have bicycle lanes on the right side in the road. Bicyclists may be in your blind spot when driving so be cautious. Bicyclists sometimes ride up between cars in the road to the front of the line at a traffic light depending on the area. Be mindful this may happen when driving here.
自我介绍
I love traveling--from meeting new people, learning about the area, exploring great places to eat, perusing local stores and visiting local hidden gems. I love learning so it's likely that I'll be in your area attending a seminar, or if I am on vacation, I'd likely be visiting historical areas or be taking in nature with a hike or visit to the oceanside. I hope to meet you and share a laugh or two.
