This was such a cozy cute space!!!! I booked it last minute and was very pleased with photos and the location looking exactly as depicted. The Host was very sweet and responsive! I checked in late and they were very flexible which I appreciate. I love little things like providing chargers when you forget especially since they are different outlets/plugs in Indonesia. That was greatly appreciated!!!! I would definitely come back!

The place is recently renovated and the lady living in the property was super nice. However there are a few caveats that made me iffy about my recent stay. 1. The location is super hard to find, even the grab delivery drivers asked for more instructions. It took us a while to find the exact location because the address provided didn’t match the pin on map. 2. After arriving and checking in, quickly realized it’s part of someone’s home. There’s a local family living in the front and the Airbnb is in their backyard. You have to go through the front to go outside or get your deliveries. And the fences are super low around the property, you can basically see people doing things right next door. With that said, if you value your privacy, this might not be an ideal place for you. 3. The last point was what bothered me the most. The bathrooms had terrible smell due to lack of ventilation system. I couldn’t sleep at night because of the smell even with the bathroom door shut.

I enjoyed my stay at the villa. The bed was comfortable and towels were very soft. All bathroom amenities were provided including hair dryer and iron which was very helpful. Villa is inside family quarters so definitely not ideal for parties or social gatherings. However family was very friendly and always greeted us. At night time the geckos can be found in the lounge area or sometimes in the bedrooms but there were very helpful in removing them immediately despite it being very late at night. Villa is 8-10 minute scooter ride to Ubud city centre so not too far away. Overall it was a good stay!
