Located on the south shore Cormorant Island, this four-room log lodge sits on one acre and overlooks Johnstone Strait. Pods of orcas are often viewed from the deck as are ships of all shapes and sizes. The Vancouver Island Mountains provide a stunning backdrop to this natural setting. This former church has a relaxed, serene vibe. All rooms are on one level with the 1500 sq. ft. Great Room offering several conversation nooks. Water comes from a 400’ community well. It’s cold and delicious. The kitchen contains a commercial fridge, standard stove, dishwasher, freezer, cold room, toaster and two double sinks. There are sufficient kitchen supplies for a party of 16. Room 1 has one queen bed; Room 2 has one queen bed and a small loft; Room 3 has two double beds; and Room 4 has two queen beds. All rooms have small fridges and private bathrooms. Room 4 has a private, covered deck with an ocean view. The rest have garden views. The heat is oil with thermostats in each room. Parking can accommodate eight vehicles.
