Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is located at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village where you will find a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions are available for hire. Our property is tucked in at the end of a no-through road so is very quiet and tranquil. In our suite there is a full kitchen (stove, oven, fridge, microwave), equipped with dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, mugs, glasses, pots, frying pans, linens, pillows, bath towels, beach towels and a private washer/dryer. You will find a cozy couch area for reading or watching TV, with games and books for your use. On the stools at the live edge counter you can relax and enjoy the view of boats in the bay, our 3 local little tug boats coming and going, as well as the herons and the occasional eagle flying by. There is a private back garden area for you to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening beverage, as well as two adirondack chairs on the front lawn specifically for your use where you can take in the bay views. To any of our Dutch visitors, our suite is a "gezellige"!
