We always stay in Tellico plains on our way up the mountain for camping weekends. This was our first time with Melanie, it won’t be our last. Great price and location. Perfect for our needs.

My wife and I rode our Harley over to Tellico Plains and stayed in cabin 2. The cabin was clean, and everything we needed for an overnight stay was included. For motorcyclists .. the entire cabin area is well packed gravel. The location is extremely convenient for access to the Cherohala Skyway, as well as restaurants and gas. There is a covered parking area for motorcycles that has a concrete pad, which came in handy when we stayed here due to an overnight thunderstorm that would have otherwise left our Harley out in the elements. The gravel at the entrance to the covered parking area is very fine. Keep your momentum and stay pointed straight. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and my wife and I plan on staying here again.

The cabin was quiet and comfortable. The keypad entry was convenient though would be helpful if it was backlit so it was easier to see at night. There was definitely thought put into making the cabin handicap accessible for anyone that needs accommodations. The beds were comfortable and firm and there were plenty of pillows and towels for our 3 day stay. The location was very convenient to downtown Tellico plains and had a gas station, sav-a-lot and dollar general close by. Parking was convenient to the cabin and there was a large space available if you happen to be pulling a trailer or need extra space. The large fire pit area is a great place to gather with friends. The shower had good water pressure and there was a heater that could be plugged in for warming up the bathroom separate from the sleeping space. Hair dryer was a plus and there was a small coffee pot with coffee, filters and small condiments for the coffee. Nice refrigerator in the room for keeping drinks and snacks cool.

We stayed two nights and from the time we saw the cabin and the surrounding area, we fell in love with it. The cabin was exactly as described and was very clean and nice and warm. We had no issues finding it or getting inside. The outside temperature was cold and on one night the power went out during a storm for the entire area for over an hour. We still stayed warm inside the cabin and was able to sleep. We slept very well as the mattress was perfect. The hostess was friendly, and she left information about where to visit in the area also. The cabin is approximately a 30 minute drive up the mountain to Bald River Falls, which is beautiful. There are quite a few good restaurants in the area including an awesome bakery. Overall, we had a great time and we would definitely go back.
