Fantastic cosy barn in pristine condition. Beautifully and thoughtfully laid out with a real sense of quality, right down to the cosy bed linen and towels. Great location with a Co-op and Tesco express within a 1 minute walk. Centre town location, but with a feeling of space and private parking. Very quiet and close to all the features of Amble. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful recently converted barn finished to a very high standard. The accommodation was immaculate and had every amenity you could require for a short stay. The location, whilst in the centre of Amble, was very quiet and peaceful. Amble is a lovely harbour town with a variety of restaurants and pubs and is ideally located for visits to local attractions in the surrounding area. Our host, Frances, sent all the information we would need to have a really enjoyable stay and the welcome pack was greatly received. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bede Barn and if we could would give it a 5+ rating!

We really loved staying at Bede Barn with our two young children. Such a cozy place to stay. Super clean and warm and tastefully decorated. The host Frances is really helpful and knows everything about the area. The location itself is very convenient for all that Amble and surrounding areas have to offer. Easy and secure parking at the barn. We had some lovely winter walks along the river to Warkworth. Love all the local shops and that we could just walk everywhere for all our grocery shopping. We were really impressed with how good the local restaurants are too. Looking forward to staying here again!!

The accommodation was exceptionally well presented and furnished. All of the information provided in the listing was accurate. Check in was smooth and without incident and Francis was always on hand to answer any queries/issues - there were none! Parking was hassle free as the barn is located on a small private road, so there are no problems with security and the lane has flood lighting. Amble itself is a great place with plenty to do with some cracking artisan coffee shops, great local pubs and fish restaurants located around the harbor area. Amble also benefits from being just off the A1, so access to Newcastle or Edinburgh is easy, as well as other tourist attractions on the east coast such as Bamburgh, Sea Houses and Alnwick Castle just up the road. There are also local connections to the main eastern train line if you don't want to drive. Warkworth Castle is also just 1 mile away. Superb accommodation in a picturesque setting.
