This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The two owners Delphine & Simeone were super welcoming, friendly and helpful (love the energy they give off)! Sunslice is beautiful, clean and safe. The location is perfect right on the beach (peaceful & serene) and next to my favorite restaurant :) It has a really well-balanced vibe of chill, but also social when you want to be, where you feel comfortable being alone, but also can always have a good time with someone around! Everyone was super friendly and open. I loved it and couldn’t recommend this place more ~ will definitely be coming back!

Premier "surf camp/house" et ça ne pouvait pas être mieux! A 20 mètres de la plage et des vagues, planches à disposition, c'était idéal pour les sessions surf avec un beau sunset. Très beau logement et jardin, la taille de l'établissement est bon pour trouver pour faire connaissance et être dans le calme quand nous le souhaitons.

For the first stop of our trip trough Nicaragua we were searching for a relaxed place where we could get to know surf better and could settle down a little. Sunslice was in our opinion this and so much more. The hosts, Simone and Delphine, are the best! They were very helpfull and understanding of our delaying situation and made sure we got to el transito safe and quick! They have a great relation with a private taxi service of Oswaldo, which made us feel comfortable immediately. The environment and people are very kind, relaxed and welcoming. The context is just paradise. You can be very private, but there is also a communal way of playing games and watching the sunset together. Amazing place to surf because it is centered on the coastline. They have great respect for the locals and the culture and try to include them as much as possible, in a considirate way. We had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer.. Very curious of what the girls have in store in the future!!
