My favorite Airbnb stay! It’s very comfortable and welcoming. The host is the best communicator and willing to work with you on anything, Jessica strongly cares about her guests! Thank you again (:
Jessica was very responsive and great at communication the few small issues I had were of my making and she quickly helped resolve them. Place was amazing and exactly like the photos and well maintained. 10/10 would get again!
The place was clean, lovely, and perfect for the two of us and my dog! It was a great place for us to stay even if we were out most of the day. We were excited to get back and rest and put on some shows to watch before sleeping. Note that there is a hospital nearby so if you have a dog with you and they like to howl to sirens, you will have a singer on your hands! The location was great and was near enough places like target and food places in case we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again if needed!
I stayed at Jessica’s place while I was in town for work. When I arrived the space was not up to par with cleaning standards, but Jessica was quick to resolve the issue. The space itself is in a great location, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and was close to work, which was a necessity for me. The space had great natural light and a nice view. And overall my stay was good. The main reason I did not give a full 5 stars, was because the unit is not on the 2nd floor as advertised, it’s actually on the 3rd floor, and there were 4 flights of stairs to climb to get to the unit. While the listing mentioned stairs, it did not specify how many flights. I have a health condition that makes stairs very hard for me. A single flight would have been fine, but 4 was incredibly difficult and made my stay very challenging, especially after a long day, and when moving luggage. If you have issues with stairs, I would not recommend staying in this space.
I stayed for a month for work. Jessica’s apt is just as pictured. There were a few mishaps, but Jessica was helpful and resolved them quickly. The condo needed a little extra cleaning upon arrival. Jessica carried that out and with a discount on my stay. The condo is actually on the 3rd floor of the building with law offices on the first floor. So, if climbing stairs is an issue, I do not recommend. Parking can be problematic, but my work schedule allowed for free parking, where available, on most days. I suggest parking in front of the Methodist Church across the street. The location was central to great restaurants and theater. Jess allowed for a later checkout, for a small fee, so that I could spend more time out of town with family.
Located in the Capital Region, Schenectady is a city that is well worth a weekend destination trip. Culture, food, history and shopping make this a real surprise Upstate city.
The Downtown State Street neighborhood is urban, vibrant, rich in history and extremely walkable. Many shops, restaurants, and cafes line State Street (and adjoining pedestrian Jay Street). Markets, festivals and parades take place all year round and public transportation and public parking lots are available as well.
