Our stay at Bernard's place was absolutely amazing! The house itself is incredible - it's actually a historic flour mill that's still fully in-tact - and Bernard even gave us a tour on how it all works! The location is perfect - just a short drive to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, but also secluded in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. We felt very comfortable in our own large room with a private bathroom all to ourselves, with everything included - and we definitely recommend paying the extra few bucks for the farm-fresh in-room breakfast...it was amazing! Bernard and his family were very accommodating and helpful, providing lots of recommendations for our trip. I'd recommend even reaching out to him ahead of time if you additional need ideas/suggestions. We wish we knew this earlier, but he even does tours and provides transportation if needed! We hope to be back someday!

Our say in this historic home was wonderful! The room was comfortable, clean and warm. Bernard and his wife are great hosts who made us feel right at home, and they make a delicious French breakfast. We loved meeting their sweet children and animals as well. We stayed here to visit Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, and it was less than a 15-minute drive to both. If you are looking for a place to eat dinner in the area, the hosts recommended Le Trot in Trévières, and it was an amazing meal! Bernard even called ahead for us to confirm they had room for two. I can't recommend this place enough for an authentic and welcoming stay in the French countryside!

This place is simply amazing....if you have any love of history, you can't find a better spot. Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery are so close, and the spot itself? Wow....a maybe 500 year old water mill with restored engineering and an incredible bedroom with an attached bathroom in the mill turret. To add to that, sheep, shetland ponies, goats, chickens, turkeys, and an incredibly photogenic alpaca named Alf. Do yourself a favor and add on the breakfast....a plethora including fresh eggs. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Super accueil par l'hôte. Endroit magnifique. Très belle chambre, très confortable. Le cadre est juste formidable, très paisible. Plein d'animaux, mention spéciale au lama amateur de selfies. On y retournera avec plaisir.

magnifique chambre dans la tour du moulin avec salle de bain privative. l hôte est passionné par l histoire du bâtiment et transmet son histoire. accueille des hôtes chaleureux et individualisés, très à l écoute et réactif à nos demandes l hôte nous a très bien conseillé sur les visites a faire concernant les plages et musée du Débarquement le jardin et les animaux sont un vrai plus au charme de cette maison !
