Wake to the sound of birds, well-rested from the most comfortable beds you've ever slept in. Have coffee on your balcony overlooking the amazing mountain hillside view. Experience slow living and dining on typical Italian cheeses, prosciutto, bread and olive oil. Wander out to get your fresh bread daily from the small local shops. Have your afternoon aperitif of choice in the café of the local town square. Or let me plan a lunch picnic when it's not too hot for you and your partner surrounded by the rolling hills ancient ruins and field's of olive groves for an extra cost. Also we can set up a private cooking session with one of the lovely local home cooks and learn to make homemade Italian pasta. As an additional service let me stock your kitchen with produce, meats, eggs and dairy from local farmers, that will be available upon arrival and will allow you to create meals or your very own charcuterie board.
We stayed at Stefano’s for 9 days. He was an amazing host, responsive, kind and helpful whenever we were in need! The area/home were beautiful/scenic. Wi-if in the home worked well but Signal on phones was not so great. Be sure to take screen shots of check in directions prior to arrival. Major issues w/parking limitations/walking the uneven terrain/inclines/distance from the parking areas to the home. Hot water for showers was limited. We recommend that you speak some Italian if you start here as none of the local shop keepers/locals speak English. The house was immaculate, decorated beautifully. No real closet space/drawers for clothing etc. No tables in the living room to hold cups/plates etc. while watching the only tv. The kitchen was well equipped and in perfect working order as was the bathroom. The master bed was super comfortable and the linens were luxurious. Overall, it was a nice stay and we highly recommend it for a short term stay to experience a medieval modern village!
Amazing apartment in marvelous place with kindest and friendliest hosts. Thank you, Grazie mille 🤌
The apartment is very nice, well equipped and very clean. Communication with Leah and Stefano was very quick and efficient. We recommend it 100% :)

Parking - We all know that parking in Italy is an issue. But NOT here.
This village has a multiple, free parking options.
There is a big parking lot directly in front of the castle and you aren't limited to the number of cars. However you are not allowed to leave your car in that parking lot Monday morning
from 7am/12pm as there is a large local market there every Monday morning. This parking lot is less than a min walk to the Airbnb. If this parking lot is full, there is another parking lot just behind it.
There is also 30 min free drop off parking just 10 steps from my door through the castle walls.
Traveling to this village by car is preferable but not essential. From Tivoli, it is only a 10 min very picturesque drive. There is also good bus and train service from Rome to Tivoli. From there, I can arrange private transit to the borgo if you wish, or there is good regular local bus service to San Gregorio da Sassola from Tivoli. You can pay on board. There are also taxis and some Ubers (not many in this area). Taxis generally do not congregate at the very small train station so you must call them. Best to let me know your arrival preference ahead of time to help you make arrangements.
There are also local taxi and limousine services that should be booked in advance. Let me know your arrival preference. While here, I can arrange a private driver if you wish.
This is also a popular area for experienced cyclists on our narrow roads.
