The Osler cottage was great! A group of us stayed for two weeks. The description of the place is accurate. The full kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We also utilized the gas grill often. The living room was comfy and tv worked well for watching lots of Jurassic Park movies. The cottage is only ~10 minutes from Eureka. Bass Lake is nice but no fishing or swimming. There are neighbors that are about 100 yds to the south but they keep to themselves and aren’t really visible unless you’re in the back yard. The Osler cottage is mostly hidden from hwy 93 and traffic is light so there was no trouble sleeping due to noise. There was an issue with the door locking but the host promptly addressed it. If I come back to Eureka again I will be trying to stay at the Osler cottage.
The Osler Cottage at Bass Lake was perfect for our family of four. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The cottage has been completely renovated inside. There are lots of windows which lends a light and airy feel. Kim was excellent with communication and checked in before, during, and after our stay. Instructions were detailed and clear. We would definitely stay here again!
Matched the description. It’s an old farm house, recently renovated , but it still has the farm house look! It’s nice if u like the farm house vibe.. 🙂
