Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Are you travelling to the beautiful coastal town of Udupi with family or friends? Are you attending a family event like a wedding, and looking for a relaxing, quite, comfortable and clean place to stay, with space for kids to run around? There is a large open space upstairs for playing games and possibility to add mattresses. Keeping carbon footprint to a minimum is important to us. Therefore - Drinking water filter is provided. Recommend to use primarily Solar water heater and use electric water heater only when needed. House is designed specifically to be cool even during summer without air conditioning. Outdoor: Tonnes of space to play or park multiple cars. Wi-Fi provided for long period bookings, to support remote working. Alternately, if you wish to host small events like Roce, Muhurta, etc. please message prior to booking. Maximum of 6 adults may stay at the house. Violation of this requirement will result in immediate expulsion from property.

We had a wonderful reunion of friends at this place. Rohit sir and the host were always available for any help needed. The place is well maintained and looks exactly as in the photos and description. Ajja’s house was literally like a home with all amenities like fully equipped kitchen, RO water filter, power backup, TV with fire stick and bedrooms with furniture’s. Complimentary breakfast in nearby restaurant was good as well. Overall had a wonderful stay with friends and everyone enjoyed the staycation. Very close to highway connecting Udupi and Honavar, close to beautiful locations like Marvanthe, Malpe, Kapu and Padubidri beach. Udupi and Mookambika temple are at drivable distance.
I highly recommend Jyestha's place. It is spacious, well equipped and the perfect size for a family vacation. Rohit, the host, couldn't be any friendlier. Always ready to answer any of our questions, we truly felt welcomed at Jyestha's place. The location of the property is just a few feet from the main road and very easy to locate. Lots of activities within 10-15 min drive. The addition of complimentary Udupi style breakfast is the icing on this cake. This will be our go to place next time we visit Udupi / Kundapura region
Ajja's house was a great find. We were there for Navarthri festivities and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pro's 1. Easy access to the main road & beach (Although we did not have time to go to the beach). Easy to find, safe location. 2. Spacious house, all amenities were as advertised. We had the entire house to ourselves. Six people can easily fit in. 3. Very friendly host and quick in responding, 15 min call away. 4. Good restaurants close by, within 5-10 min driving distance. Con's 1. I cannot find much con's about the place, but given the extreme weather I guess one room can be fitted with an AC.

Kota: small town between cities of Udupi and Kundapur. Reachable by direct bus from Mangalore, Kollur, Bangalore, Mumbai. Kundapur Railway station is 11km away- auto rickshaw accessible. Mangalore airport is 84km - taxi ride.
House: 100m from NH66. Kota Bus stand is 2km away - autorickshaw accessible. For self driven cars, parking is available on the property. Please let us know if local taxi services are needed, and happy to help
