Trailside 45 building is situated along the TART Trail and a few blocks from Eighth Street which is one of the main thoroughfares through Traverse City. The building is primarily surrounded by residential housing, though Garfield Ave is a commercial street. It is also within walking distance of a large park with a playground and YMCA East.
The location is prime for most activities within the city. Additionally, it sits a few blocks from the base of the Old Mission Peninsula, the gateway to the Old Mission Wine Trail. Visit up to 10 wineries along this majestic trail.
Common Good Bakery (5min walk) recently opened nearby and serves meals coffee as well as homemade bread and pastries. There are several lovely coffee shops in the area.
The new TART Boardman Lake Trail Loop wraps around the lake and can be walked or cycled; it connects to the TART 1/2 mile west of the condo.

The condo complex has its own lot to the west of the building and there is NO FEE for parking. There are NO designated spots, but the SW door provides the easiest access.
Trailside 45 is perfectly positioned for guests to walk, bike or drive easily around town. The TART Trail’s paved bike/walking path allows for safe foot or wheeled travel away from most traffic (it will intersect crosswalks). The district Library and many other treasures, are right along the path. Located nearby is Pirate’s Cove Mini Golf (along the path or driving), for more family fun.
Located a short distance from Munson Avenue, which runs along the waterfront, the location provides easy access to Leelanau County to the west or east toward Charlevoix, Petoskey, Mackinaw and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Garfield Ave is the direct route entering from or leaving town heading south, making your departure quick and convenient.
