My husband and I did an overnight stay here to experience something different while exploring the area. The wagon was cool to stay in, but personally we felt it was overpriced in value. We were disappointed to learn the amenities listed a firepit which was only available at an additional cost so it was not an amenity that was included with the “glamping” experience. (The add’tl cost wasn’t noted anywhere on the listing either.) We decided to leave the campgrounds to explore the nightlife in town and were once again disappointed returning that evening to the wifi and tv refusing to work. We had issues with the AC/Heater unit not turning on initially which we eventually got to work rotating and playing around with the batteries. We also had no key in the keybox to check-in with and had to wait outside almost 30 minutes for Page to bring us the keys. The experience was more frustrating than relaxing and that wasn’t the vibe we were hoping for on our travels.

The covered wagon was neat. It did have some areas that could have been cleaned a bit better, there were a lot of crumbs between the wall and bunk beds. The pool is smaller then the picture makes it appear. And the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. There was always a wait for the shower even though the campground was only half full at any given point. There were days there the stalls didn’t have toilet paper. The water pressure changed if someone turned on a new shower or the water was only like warm at most. But the surroundings were pretty and the wagon was an unique experience.

It was a lovely experience for my travel mate and I, but I think it would be best suited to a family as the amenities of the site well suit, what with laundry, the playground and pool and bunk beds for the kids. The showers were strong and hot and the bathrooms were clean. Everyone seemed happy to be there and it was easy to check in late in the evening when we arrived.

Der wagen war wie auf den bildern. Allerdings waren beim einchecken vor Ort 4 stück von den Wagen vorzufinden. Die Türschlösser würden sich auch nicht beschweren wenn sie ausgetauscht werden.

Wow, what a night! Niceley surprised with the airconditioning. Had a bit of trouble with the lock but I just had to squeeze the lock back together and then it could be opened.
