Lisa & Jason are amazing hosts. Very responsive and willing to help. Lended us their space heater for our toddler and even arranged a visit to their farm as our little one loves animals.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, looking to have a small getaway from our busy lives. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed (towels, dishes, garbage bags, kettle, soap, etc.). We were graciously provided with fresh ground coffee, farm fresh eggs, and a couple locally crafted beers that made our stay feel even more special. The toilet and shower, although not connected to the cabin, was very clean and comfortable. The wood stove was easy to use and gave the cabin a very cozy feeling. We were also provided with all the wood we needed for our stay. There is another rental cabin on the property but a small privacy fence has been put up. This wasn’t an issue for us as no one was staying in the other cabin while we were there, however if you’re looking for absolute privacy, be aware that this cabin is on a residential street so you do have neighbours in all directions. What a great place! Rustic but convenient. We didn't have the greatest weekend for weather but that did not put a damper on our stay. Jason came by to make sure we had enough wood for the last night there. That was very appreciated. Very short walk to the beach, yes cold and there are a few stairs but if you can manage the stairs it's a beautiful walk. If you want to have a chill weekend this place is great. If you want to go out and adventure this is also great for that. We will definitely not hesitate to go back to the Knotty Gnome. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your place. Jay and Ashley

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and the Knotty Gnome. The place was comfortable and had everything you would need. The bed was super comfortable and the wood burning fire place came in handy. BBQ and kitchen supplies are there for pretty much anything you would want to prepare and the fridge inside is big enough to store pretty much anything you bring for your stay. The outdoor shower and washroom is clean and close to the cabin. Lisa and Jason were great hosts and were available for when we had a few questions about the area. Thanks for a great stay !!!
