Opend in May 2023, YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year. 12 bicycles (inc. those for children) are available. You can visit the Shirahige Shrine, famous for its Torii in the lake, in a 15min by those. It takes just 5-min walk from Omi-takashima station to the house.If you come by car, you can park your car in the parking lot provided, for free. The house has two toilets, 1st floor and 2nd floor. There are also two washstands. There is a drawing of the house in the photo listing. Starting with reservations made on 2024/03/14, we have extended the check-in and check-out times respectively to allow you to fully relax during your stay. The new check-in time is 12:00 AM and check-out time is also 12:00 AM. You can stay up to 24 hours per night. We have a luggage locker that can be used before check-in and after check-out. Available from 9:00 am before check-in and until 21:00 pm after check-out. You can also rent bicycles while using this luggage locker. Please use this service for easy sightseeing.

特别适合6人以上住宿，房子设施齐全，装修新而且干净，性价比非常高。
房东非常热情，有问题回复很及时，房子非常干净，设施齐全，调味料都是小包装，非常卫生，走路到JR站非常近，大概8分钟，旁边是寺庙和树林，寺庙基本上没有人，我们在这里住的很开心，非常推荐入住。
这是一次非常愉快的入住，一户建的房屋非常棒，坐落安静，离JR站很近，整体和洋式装修风格深得我心，房间很干净，物品一应俱全，还配备了自行车供我们使用，自助入住简便，房东回复消息快捷，感谢房东为我们准备入住点心和酒。
房东的指导很热情及时，房子非常漂亮，提供了非常多便利的服务，期待下一次的体验。

Hiyoshi Shrine --- 1 min walk. Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
Shirahige Shrine --- 15 min by bicycle. The oldest shrine in Omi, famous for the torii gate in the lake.
Shirahige-hama Beach --- 10 min by bicycle. Good water quality. Can swin in summer.
Hagino-hama Beach --- 10 min by bicycle. Designated as one of the "100 best beaches in Japan" for its scenic pine forest.
Old Omizo Castle Town --- 10 min walk. With a river running through the middle of the street.
Hata terraced rice fields --- 30 min by bus. Designated as one of the 100 best terraced rice paddies in Japan.
Otomegaike Pond - 10 min walk. Famous for bass fishing.
Shirosaka(Middle of moutain) --- 1 hour on foot. Located on the way to Little Hira (mountain climbing course). Beautiful white slope.Famous for locals.
Yatsufuchi Falls --- 30 min by bus and 1 hour on foot. Eight pools at the headwaters of the Kamo River. Designated as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan.
Forty-eight Stone Buddhas --- 10 min by bicycle. Located on a way to Shirahige Shrine. A group of Buddhist statues from the late Muromachi period (around 1500 AD)
Tourist areas in the former Takashima Town can be accessed by bicycles provided.

京都生まれ、滋賀県育ち、現在は東京でブライダル関係の仕事をしています。 これまで海外は上海、ミラノ、カレー（フランス）、ブリュッセル（ベルギー）、ロンドン、ニューヨーク、シカゴに行ったことがあります。次は南米のボリビアとアルゼンチンに行くことが目標です。 旅行は、慣れてしまった日常から飛び出して、未知の新しいものを全身で体感できる効果絶大のリフレッシュ方法だと思います。これからも折を見て、国内外の旅行に出かけたいです。 2023年5月から、地元の空き家になってしまっていた家で、民泊を始めました。家のある勝野地区はかつて小さな城下町で、また琵琶湖と山に囲まれているので自然の景色も多いです。現代の新しい町にはない、どこか懐かしい雰囲気を残していると思います。 湖に浮かぶ鳥居で有名な白髭神社は宿から自転車で15分です。 ご検討中であっても、またご宿泊前・滞在中も、ご不明な点があれば、いつでも遠慮なくご連絡ください。平日の日中でも大抵の時間で対応ができます。
