The bed is a Double (188 x 137 cm), and there is cupboard space as well as a suitcase bench for your convenience. This bedroom is part of the upstairs unit, which is modern and generous so you can have a comfortable holiday here. Enjoy views up the bay and down to Opua from the large decks and open plan living areas. Known as Old Russell, Okiato has its own historical site. From the house it is less than five minutes' walk to secluded Pipiroa beach, Opua car ferry, and boat ramp, and only a short drive to Russell. Get in touch with the host, we are happy to provide local advice on the wealth of activities you can do nearby.

Realy nice room with good views to the sea. Very clean and tidy. Shared kitchen and living area is also very comfortable. I felt very comfortable. Antje is very helpful and friendly.

Very comfortable place, we stayed here for a week and feel like home. The kitchen get everything we need and everywhere is so clean! Antje recommended plenty of beaches and walking tracks for us to visit. This place can also take the ferry to Opua. We feel so glad to take this place! Bay of Island is truly a beautiful place!
I did enjoy my stay. Antje was very friendly and practically helped me plan my short vacation. the recommended places to visit was really helpful. how to move around, where to find what I needed while on my vacation was super awesome. I love the space and am looking forward to being back there whenever I go to the Northland.

With the car ferry and cycle trail nearby, there are lots of ways to enjoy the area. Walk around Okiato and Opua, hire a bike and cycle to Kawakawa and the Hundertwasser toilets, or take the car into Russell or across to Waitangi to immerse yourself in the early history of New Zealand. By ferry and car from Okiato, or with the passenger ferry from Russel, you can get to Paihia where most tours operate from.
