The relaxation starts as soon as you move into your "Backbord", directly by the sea. With its 77 square metres, "Backbord" is spacious and cosy at the same time and can accommodate up to 5 people on 2 floors. When you arrive, you can already feel the unique atmosphere. The light is particularly beautiful here and we have tried to capture as much of it as possible. The sun shines all day (south-facing) and your terrace is like another living room in summer. The living room is furnished with a cosy sofa corner, which nestles up against the small fireplace. From here you can go directly to your terrace and from there it is only a few steps to the beach. On the terrace there is a cosy beach chair and a place to sit and eat. The open-plan kitchen/living room offers you a spacious seating area. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine with pods and toaster. Here you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Fehmarnsund while having breakfast and make plans for the day. On this floor you will find a beautiful guest toilet with wonderful tile and stone work. We have provided a washing machine and tumble dryer for you here. Opposite is one of the two bedrooms. Here you will find a double bed (160 x 200cm). We have also built a loft bed (single bed) on top of the ceiling beams. A child as well as an adult can sleep there. On the upper floor is the second bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200cm). From here you can go to the balcony, from where you have a spectacular view of the Fehmarnsund. Opposite you will find the bathroom with bathtub, shower and double washbasin. In winter, the underfloor heating is very pleasant.

WLAN sollte selbst mitgebracht werden. Ansonsten hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Wasser. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, uns hat nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gerne wieder. ☺️

Wir haben uns als kleine Familie zu dritt sehr wohl im Strandhaus Backbord gefühlt. Es ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. An der Rückseite des Hauses befindet sich die Sauna mit Außendusche. Die Lage direkt am Strand hat es uns ermöglicht spontan an den Strand zu gehen und das Rauschen der Wellen vom Haus aus zu hören. Den begrünten Deich haben wir für mehrere Spaziergänge genutzt, zum Sonnenauf- und Sonnenuntergang sehr zu empfehlen. Die allgemeine Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist gut. Beim genaueren Nutzen stellten wir kleinere Defekte bzw. Abnutzungen fest. Diese hatten wir per Mail als Feedback an Coco geschickt. Die Antwort kam prompt, mit erstmal einem Dankeschön für das Feedback und der Möglichkeit noch während unseres Aufenthalts die gemeldeten Punkte zu lösen. Wir haben den neuen Staubsauger genommen und alles weitere war für uns unseren Urlaub nicht erheblich. Es war ein schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt im Strandhaus.

Great place to stay. Luxury Home for 4 People easy. Stayed with a toddler and we got a child's chair and bed without asking. The beach right across the street is the highlight. it is not crowded at all, but you have to cross some stones in the water for swimming. The master's bedroom in the first floor has a fantastic view over the sea and Fehmarnsund bridge (which is not loud at all). Everything else is in the house is also great. The kitchen has a good outfit, Sauna is roomy and relaxing, bathrooms are spacy. There was nothing to wish more from a holiday stay! Check-in/out is in Burg 10min drive away. You can get breakfast delivered from a local bakery as every shop is at least 10min by car. There is only one car park on the site. We came with 2 cars, so we got a parking ticket for 25€/week right across the street. We had a great stay and even the weather was good!

Directly opposite the house is the beach. The Fehmarnsund Bridge is within sight and a great photo opportunity, especially when the sun goes down. The harbour is also nearby, from where you can launch boats.

It's best to bring your own car. You will find a parking space right in front of the door. If you want to take your bike with you, you can of course leave it in front of our door. The best way to discover Fehmarn is by bike...
