纽约 · 整套出租单元 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住5人 · Quiet Uptown Oasis, Family and Pet Friendly
Available for summer vacation bookings. Message for specific dates needed. What you get: A well furnished 1 bedroom apt on the ground floor with public roof and garden access. Ideal for couples, but comfortably sleeps family of 5 (queen air mattress and two deep couches in spacious living room). Located in West Inwood (the nice part) steps from 3 world class parks and the MET Cloisters, you’ll be easy walks from subways and metro north, and quick cabs from midtown. This is a charming pre-war 1 bedroom apartment that has been updated and remodeled over the years. Living and dining room are co-mingled to comfortably seat / lounge your entire family + a pet. Pre-war floor plans are typically more spacious and have more of that New York City charm as opposed to more modern construction. The common area roof and bbq area offers stunning views of all directions and there are multiple gated gardens tho pets are not allowed in any gated area. A dog run and child’s playground are minutes away, as well as beautiful tennis courts and miles of historic pristine hiking trails. Access the west side bike path all the way to lower Manhattan. Incredibly quite and private, this space is a gem that lets you be a part of the city while still being able to step away from it.
Casey was wonderful and he asked beforehand if we wanted his cat to hang with us for the night or not, which we did. Sweet cat, lovely host, would definitely come again. Parking wasn’t bad around 5pm!
Great spot. Awesome neighborhood and some really great 24 hour restaurants nearby. Chopped Cheese was amazing Casey was an excellent host and kept in contact whenever we needed anything. Very responsive and easy to get along with! Will stay again for sure
Casey was the most communicative Airbnb host I have ever had. His response was fast and clear. Also he had all the great things at the apartment, including Xbox and Nintendo Switch, he prepared a plate of cheese and fruit with a bottle of wine as a welcome gift :) And the neighborhood is just perfect for stay-cation. He also has a rooftop that you can grill, with an amazing view, and it was 5 star place to stay in Inwood! Loved it Casey!
I needed a place for calls while my apt had work going on. This was nearby, on the nice side of broadway (with safe parking), and way cheaper than going to a hotel that would have what I needed, so I gave it a shot even though I was a little worried because the hosts other postings mention a cat that lives there, but place smelled great, was very clean, and the cat was super chill. Casey buzzed me in with his building’s video entry and we had a brief hello on the monitor, then there was a spare set of keys for me inside so I could come and go. You can tell he wants people to enjoy his apt because he’s clearly put a lot of time into the decorations and getting comfortable things for his guests to enjoy. Wifi was good for my calls, sound system and TV was very nice, and bathroom was fully stocked with anything you could need, he even left out snacks. The live plants were a nice touch. A true 5 star listing. Would recommend it.
West of broadway and at the top of a hill, this area is removed from the madness of the city and zoned for residential co-ops making it incredibly quiet. It's a gem for manhattan that you wont find many places.
Columbia’s Sports campus sits blocks away along with homes that have been preserved on the historic registry and a sight for architecture and history lovers. A top tier restaurant sits along the park for a famous New York brunch or dinner.
The area is wonderfully maintained by Columbia west of Broadway and very safe, but do be advised east of Broadway is not at all maintained and you will want to steer clear. Many NYC neighborhoods have divisions like this due to zoning laws. Rest assured this is the part you want to be in.
There are 3 beautiful historic parks nearby and a common roof area for rooftop views. The sharockapoc caves and glacial potholes, Ft Tryon, and MET Cloisters are ‘must sees’ and offer a side of New York few get to experience.
Lovely public tennis courts ($15 per hour to the parks dept) dog run, and very nice playground and hiking trails are all steps away.
This apt is close to the 1 train and A train as well as metro north.
Experienced bike riders can access the west side bike path safely. Biking is not recommended in NYC for any amateurs unless in a park. Be wary of citi bikes outside of Central Park even though they may look simple enough. Never use a rental moped unless experienced.
There is street parking if you time it right, but be prepared to look for a space if you can't come in the morning when spots are turning over. Secure Lot parking is available nearby for a fee.

Message me if you are looking to plan a trip to NYC and would like to rent my place. ---- Milenial living in the city since 2010. Local guide. For me, my neighborhood is the best part of the city after 6 apts, 4 burroughs, and 13 years of searching. Come experience hidden NY. A friendly 1 year old tabby lives here. The space is kept clean and she stays in her space in the living room.
