The villa itself was fine. The management of the property were very cheeky. They disclosed an 'optional' fee for heating which was later communicated (some time after booking being accepted) that it was not in fact optional, as the place would be untenable otherwise. Not only that, but they tried to sneak some additional fees in even relative to the price they had mentioned as optional. It wasn't until I triple checked back over listings that I noticed this. I would recommend that Airbnb look into this, as it is not in the spirit of fair/transparent pricing and comparison.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the villa. The villa is located on a beautiful plot and the view of the ocean is simply miraculous. One feels like one is in the middle of nature. But still you can drive to Ericeira town in less than 5min. (For all the surfers: it is technically possible to walk down to Riberia d'Ilhas). So the location is great! The villa is very cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed using the Barbecue. The villa is big enough to host 8 people, so I highly recommend visiting with friends or family. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming again!
The House was easy to find and exactly as described! Beautiful View and has everything one could need. Communication with Paulo was fast and he gave us a lot of recommendations for the Area. The Property is very private with it's own little Pine Forest. We really enjoyed the stay and can definitely recommend!
Awesome for a peaceful stay with friends. Everything was squeaky clean and Paulo was a great host, always ready to help!
De villa was even mooi in het echt als dat die op de foto's was, Voor aankomst ook al goed contact gehad met de eigenaar die gelijk een lijst stuurde met allemaal leuke restaurants en plekken in de buurt van het huis. Bij aankomst een leuke bak gevuld met borrels. Vlakbij-liggende dorpje Iriceira is ook heel gezellig.
