VG was our Dad, and this was his home. Dad loved to have visitors and there was always someone calling in and staying overnight. It was hard to keep up sometimes. He was a people person and committed a great portion of his life serving the people of Queensland but most particularly the people of Western Qld. We knew that Dad's home would be the perfect place for visitors to rest for a while and plan their next adventure. We hope you enjoy our little slice of paradise in the Longreach Region. A lovely comfortable little 3 Bedroom cottage with pressed metal ceilings and polished floorboards. We are your home away from home. Sit for a while in comfortable lounges and catch the breeze through the windows on the verandah/library. There are split systems in every room, if the weather is hot or cold we have you covered. Enjoy a night in front of the telly or out on the patio.

We had a wonderful time in Longreach. The house had lots of old world charm, and was very comfortable - (especially the beds!) It was also well stocked, we wanted for nothing. Tanya’s hospitality was exceptional.

The house is really well presented and one of the better homes I’ve stayed in. It was really clean and had everything we needed plus a little extra. It really did feel like a home away from home. Tanya was a fantastic host and I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Longreach.
Arrived to find a gem of extras in the fridge which made our stay just wonderful. Not having to get to the first supermarket on arrival was so good. The home is well equipped and the beds are very very comfy. Tanya had put the air conditioning on before we arrived and being nearly 38 degrees it was a welcome relief. Would highly recommend this place. I will be rebooking on my return to Longreach Tanya is a wonderful host

Quiet residential neighbourhood
Plenty of parking available with a carport and long driveway. We are central and an easy walk to town and attractions. As well as Iningai Nature Reserve and the Botanical walkway
