PROS: We loved the location. We were hoping for a white Christmas but unfortunately we were a week early for snow. It was a beautiful space, we loved the seclusion. The clubhouse was full of activities and the kids didn’t want to leave the hot tub. The propane grill was a big help in cooking Christmas dinner. CONS: I was still working and it was tough not having WiFi in the cabin. The carpet appeared to not have been vacuumed, not a huge deal as it wasn’t filthy dirty but little bits of debris here and there. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this as a beautiful getaway for anyone.

This was our second time staying here and we had an amazing time. The kids never even wanted to leave the property to explore the town. They have amazing communication regarding anything you may need. And they allowed us to use the pool and other amenities for the afternoon even after checkout. I definitely hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful weekend at Lazy Z! The only way it could have been better is if we could have stayed another couple of days. We are already planning our next visit... this time I’ll bring the kids. This place is equally good for couples and families/kids. This place gives you the feeling of camping in the woods with the comfort and conveniences of home. Air conditioning was a godsend, beds were clean and comfy, the store was less than 10 minutes drive and the town has some restaurants and bars that looked like they would be fun. Back at the ranch, we thoroughly enjoyed the water feature (pool) and hot tub, ping pong, pool table and CornHole... there was lots to do without any pressure or stress- we did exactly what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it. I don’t think I ever saw any employees or staff, but when I did have a question it was answered immediately. Best of both worlds! Things you should know: it’s like camping, sort of, so bring your toiletries. They aren’t provided. We also wished we’d brought some plastic cups or drinking bottles since you can’t bring glass to the pool. That’s it. 😊 This place is a great value. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for this type of getaway.

This place is amazing for couples and for families! It felt like a home away from home none of the family wanted to leave this getaway. Everything was clean, well kept, and organized. It included everything we needed to make this trip as comfortable as possible and we all enjoyed our stay here. The club house has everything you need for fun if the pool, bbq grills, fire pits, and hot tubs aren’t enough
