Lovely house in a stunning location. It really is just as amazing as it looks in the pictures. Very clean, nice kitchen, and great areas for relaxing inside and out. Easy check in and check out. This is a special place, I hope to have the opportunity to return.

My wife and I loved Doug’s place and the Alabama Hills. We hiked for a couple days and went skiing one day at Mammoth Mountain. We ate in Lone Pine and enjoyed wherever we went but liked Seasons the best. The location of Doug’s place is perfect with hikes and views from the deck and more adventures just minutes away. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable, well equipped, newer home in a stunning location in the Alabama Hills area. Doug was very responsive and provided thoughtful touches and suggestions for a great stay. Well stocked kitchen. Views of Mt Whitney from the bnb with trails near by. Beautiful drive along Tuttle creek road brings you into town. One thing we didn’t research was the snow closures to Mt Whitney Portal were still in place in mid April. Hope to be back someday for more exploration.

I've been exploring the Eastern Sierra for many years - some of my life's most memorable moments happened in these parts. I was involved in the desert wilderness movement in the 1990's and in the early 2000's I traversed the length of the Inyo Mountains as a fundraiser for the hospital in Lone Pine. I also wrote a cover story in LA Weekly about an unsolved mystery in Saline Valley.
