Set on a Campground with amenities, Mustang Tipi is for those who want to look at the stars and take in the Southwest sunsets. It is glamping with a Queen bed & linens + floor pads for kids. We have a camper's kitchen stocked w/ pots, appliances, dishes, coffee, etc. Bring your food. We provide spices, oil, filtered drinking water, ice, dish soap, a fridge/freezer. Bathrooms & Hot Showers are central. Here you are just 5 mi from downtown Cortez & 22 min to the Mesa Verde Nat'l Park entrance. Mustang Tipi comes with a queen size bed, full linens on the Queen bed & 3 floor mattresses + table, rugs, solar lights, reclining camp chairs & firepit. The base price includes 2 guests, it is $9 for each additional guest up to 5 total. (A sixth person is fine if a child 5 & under & no charge). The extra fee is for the showers and other amenities onsite. This large 20' deluxe Tipi is a furnished setup. IT COMES WITH THE FOLLOWING: - Reclining indoor/outdoor chairs, one for each guest over 6yrs old - Up to 5 single-long sleeping floor pads (4" thick foam pads) Linens for floor pads are an ADD-ON. Please request those when booking and pay on-site $10 per setup - portable solar lights on a remote - Charging battery power station - Big rugs - Small battery fan w/light - Small table & a trash can for convenience - Fire pit outside NO Electricity or running water inside the Tipi. The bathrooms, kitchen and showers are central on the Campground. They all have electricity and running water. The kitchen has filtered drinking water, ice, pots, pans, a dishwashing sink, soap, hand towels, a fridge/freezer, Complimentary Coffee, Tea and spices for cooking.. all for you to use! NOT INCLUDED: OPTIONAL FOR A ONE-TIME FEE: (if you need the following, please reserve in advance by sending us a message after booking) - Sleeping Bag, Pillow & Towel "camper set" for extra people using floor pads: $10 - Firewood: We sell firewood for less than the retail stores. - ICE: We provide free filtered ice to enjoy for cold drinks on the campground. - HEAT: We can provide a propane heater. The Propane tank is a $25 fee. Ask to reserve heat in advance - INDOOR FIRE TABLE/ heat & ambiance: We can provide the fire table. The Propane tank is a $25 refill fee. The Fire Tables use more propane than the heater. We can recommend which is best depending on the conditions. This is deluxe camping, but it is still “camping”. FOR LARGER GROUPS: This is a great Tipi to combine with the ex-large furnished Raven Tipi for a group site, or even a combo of 3 big Tipis that are in the same area, all facing East to Mesa Verde National Park. We also have a large covered pavilion that is a group site on the campground. There are some campsites in the same area as the Tipis, these can also be combined.
