Alexander greeted us on time and gave us a tour of the place. He is a very friendly and welcoming host and the studio was cleaned very thoroughly before we arrived! He gave us a few freebies to start our trip which I thought was such a lovely gesture to his guests - including some wine and chocolate from the local factory. Zaandam itself is a lovely place to go for food and explore the coast etc. and is also a stone’s throw from Amsterdam Centraal on the train (local station is 10 min walk). We had a lovely time at Alexander’s place and I would definitely recommend it to others viewing this as an opportunity for a few nights. We stayed for three nights and the bed itself is very comfortable. Definitely good value, Alexander responds to messages quickly so if you need anything he is happy to help you out. Would definitely stay again if given the chance.

Really lovely stay. Smooth and quick check in, host was very responsive and was at the property on arrival. Perfect location, close to train station and quick trip into Amsterdam central (approx 15-20 minute train). Supermarkets and shops nearby, and short walk into Zaandam. Beautiful village that does indeed smell of chocolate due to the local chocolate factory. Overall, great stay with a great host, Alexander is a lovely guy who takes pride in the property and made for really easy check in and check out. He even left some nice freebies for if we were thirsty and some delicious local chocolate! Would 100% return in the future, thank you!😊

Super séjour passé chez Alexander, appartement très bien tenu, accès facile depuis la station de train, vers Amsterdam et Zaanse Schans. Hôte très accueillant et sérieux. Nous recommandons et n’hésiterons pas à réserver de nouveau.

Logement agréable, dans un quartier résidentiel paisible, facile d’accès en une quinzaine de minutes depuis le centre d’Amsterdam avec le train. Le Airbnb est également juste à côté des champs de moulins, très réputés à visiter! Studio grand, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir bien. Seul bémol, la lumière du jour (tôt le matin) passe à travers la fenêtre avec les stores (nous avons l’habitude de volets en France) et la couette était un peu petite pour 2 personnes. Hôte très réactif et disponible, indications claires! Je recommande ce logement si vous passez par Amsterdam 👍😊
