We welcome you to our guesthouse, ecological project and beloved home to enjoy the best Chacahua has to offer; tranquility in nature. The perfect place for couples, friends or solo vacationers who wants to unwind by reading, meditating, practice yoga or enjoy the nature and culture of the National Park by surfing or hiking. This eco- cabin has a view over our botanical garden and is surrounded by endemic nature with a private beach only a few steps away. The property has a main building where us hosts live and sell food to our guests. There’s two cabins for rent, and this specific one is located in the botanical garden a few steps away from the beach. It’s elevated with a beautiful view and is very spacious with a nice balcony surrounded by trees. Theres also a big palapa by the beach which is a nice place to relax during info hot days. Everything on the property has been built and created by the hosts ourselves, something we’re very proud of! We are building ecologically with local materials and without harming the nature around us.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ida und Jorge war absolut traumhaft! Perfekt, wenn man Lust auf Ruhe, Natur, Abgeschiedenheit und das Rauschen des Ozeans hat. Die beiden sind außerdem sehr sympathische Hosts und das Essen ist super lecker! :)
Jorge and Ida's paradise was more than expected. Nestled into the beauty of nature, the sounds of the waves, the breeze while sleeping and showering under the stars was all we could ask for. But on top of the gorgeous natural space, the simple, yet intriquate buildings fit perfectly into the beach landscape. The simplicity of the cabana's made for a relaxing, peaceful, and joyful experience. We highly recommend feasting on Ida's and Jorge's breakfast and dinners. The organic, fresh, simple meals were delicious and healthy!! Going into town is a fun visit but really, there is no need to leave the very private beach and space at the cabana's. Peaceful sleep, star lit nights, bioluminescent sparkles on the night beach, long beach walks have left us wanting to return asap!!! Taking the boat and the colletivo's was very simple and fun! As long as you love being in nature you can't go wrong with visiting Ida and Jorge's paradise!!! We highly recommend!!!
Ida and Jorge's place is dreamy. The room (elevated cabana) was just a few steps from the beach which felt like a private beach because the place was far from the craziness of the center/pueblo. However, we walked one morning to the center/pueblo and it took us about an hour and a half (we walked on the beach very early, sunrise early, to beat the heat). I believe the walk on the main road would be shorter. You also have the very convenient "colectivo" that runs every hour on the main road! More about the place - if you are looking for a peaceful stay, surrounded by plants and animals (both wild and domestic), and sleeping with the sounds of the ocean - this is the place for you! You can also watch the sunrise from the bed in the elevated cabana. They have an outdoor shower and dry toilet that work perfectly fine. Finally, Ida and Jorge offered us a community dinner with them and the other two guests, which was delicious and became an unforgettable memory in beautiful Chacahua :)
Der Aufenthalt bei Ida war absolut wunderbar. Ida und Jorge sind super nette Menschen und der Ort ist schlichtweg traumhaft. Auch das Essen war köstlich! Ich kann es allen nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier so viel Zeit zu verbringen, wie es geht!
This is such a gem if you want to be secluded in nature. Ida is an amazing chef the food was so delicious. The place was very simple but it the best way because really if you are booking this place, that’s what you’re looking for. Stunning sunsets and sunrises.

Lagunas de Chacahua is a national park and we are based on the island of Chacahua which also is where most tourists go. The island has about 15km of beach on one side and lagoon on the other. At one of the short sides of the island there is the little town where you can find good surf, small shops, bars and restaurants and other activities.
We want to inform our guests that we are located 4,5km outside of the town in the middle of the wild. To get to the town for activities there’s colectivos passing every hour, just not at night. If you want to go to town evening time we can help you organize a private ride or there’s the possibility of walking under the stars. But the real highlight is the nature around our property and the simple life there.
The colectivo takes 10-15 minutes to the town and passes every hour, twenty past the hour. To get back from town it leaves every half hour, last one being 5.30 pm.
