The charming old house was in a very convenient position for access to the lovely old town of Montreuil sur mer; close to the ramparts and citadel with a lovely little garden on different levels. The area outside with table and chairs was a sheltered little sunspot most of the day (in August). We ate outside frequently. The stairs to the first and second floor are quite steep but it's an old house. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were great with a lovely big walk in shower and big bath. We looked after the cat and were able to keep her downstairs. Their coffee maker made the most delicious coffee. We didn't work out how to use their oven but we managed fine on their hob. The dish washer was efficient and easy to use. The upper garden caught the late afternoon sun and the lounger chairs were very comfortable. We loved the beaches at Merlimont and le Touquet. A few instructions about how to use appliances would have been helpful. Thank you Caroline for a lovely week.
